it's strange, but my friends and I are doing well. 2-3 people have problems. I advise you to check the rest of the mods to find the mod responsible for your problems.
Ok, ok! You are right in the fact I left old materials on its file (I used new materials with new names a while ago) and that the wheels folder should have been changed to something of its own, I already did the switch, fixed some other stuff and I'm currently rebuilding the configs. Also, sneak peek peek at today's update!
even if I put the mod in my mods folder, zipped and properly installed, the game does not recognize it. There is no vehicle in cars or props selection and it does not show up in mod manager. I have no idea what to do at this point...
If you're accepting suggestions, please, please, please could you add rock sliders and off-road bumpers (something like an ARB bull bar or metal bumper such as in the pic below)? Thank-you!
Hi! Sadly, today there will not be any update...worry not, since it will come tomorrow It's important to remember no one promised this rate of updates, there was and is so much to add it was like a tsunami, but for this one I prefer to take a couple more hours (not even days!) and polish as much as possible...in fact, a easy example, while tweaking things, I noticed the front seats after spawning are pushed forward, I fixed this already, and was discovered by chance, so tomorrow after a good check, it will be released. And there are reasons, hopefully, to look for it, here is the current state of the police interior, the Bastion parts are already in after being modified for the Defender And yes, that exterior is currently very dull, but of course a police skin will be done and included!
The original post does not seem to be too favorable towards suggestions - I hope this helps! --- Post updated ---
Update is out! Police version added: Based on the P300, it adds a pushbar, lightbar, concealed lights, antenna, and every police equipment in the interior from the Bastion, adapted and modified for the car Includes the shared partition and simple door panels from the Hard Top Includes a Belasco City Police livery Fixes and others: Added rear and front sway bars to all configs, including a normal one and a sport one Fixed some materials glowing weirdly at night Renamed all materials and names for the wheels, so no more texturing issues with them should occur Fixed front seats being pushed forward after spawning Updated sport tires Further improved suspension for less body roll and better off road capability Slightly raised air suspension in offroad mode Added a new 'offroad' mode in adaptive dampers for softer springs and more comfort when off-roading 'Custom' config drives even better now Fixed a dark spot in the I4 muffler Fixed front door shaking if the windows are removed Fixed all mirrors reflection positioning Fixed more texturing issues Included a fixed UV template for both the normal body and the Hard Top body, so you can create your own liveries That was especially true at the very beginning, since I didn't want to have 20000 requests of different parts, body styles and configs before the mod was even out. Of course, my will is to add as much as I can and most of the time what I want/can do aligns with some of the requests, so it's a win/win, the main issue is as always, newcomers and/or people who just get in here and all they know is to request more and more, that can be a little tiresome sometimes, so at this point I read every comment, and if what I see it's viable, I go ahead, depends on every feature. In fact my plan was the original release, the car as it came straight out of Forza and that's it, but the result was so good, the response so wide, and the collaboration of people adding bits here and there so meaningful I pushed forward, and I'm glad I did, but long story short, some of the requests will be done, some will not, I don't want to say a clear and final NO, but not promising nothing either.
Really great progress. However, I think the updates are getting pushed a little too often. Maybe let this version sit for a like a week. This is just a suggestion but there is no reason to kill yourself fixing every single little bug. You're doing great.
Anyone knows how to make my own skin work on this car? I can't create a new config, it won't load the skin into the game
I've noticed some things that I would love to see improved: The wading depth seems a bit too low (without a snorkel), The TCR system doesn't do much (tested on rollers), some other vehicles have much better systems (for example the ETK 1300 seems to have a much better TCR that would suit this car very well since land rovers are known for amazing TCR), The air suspension seems a bit soft, The bumpers (parts of the V8 config) get stuck on a certain color and won't change back), And I would appreciate an electronically locking diff that is already in the game but isn't an option in the vehicle config. Thanks, otherwise an outstanding mod
the suspension is perfect, it is exactly what it should be. --- Post updated --- the air suspension is the same as in real life according to my feelings. It is almost impossible to break through it on the defender, so the suspension is exactly 10/10.
You’ve read my mind I made an unfinished drag config yesterday with around 1700 bhp and 163 mph over the end line, you can make it too because the necessary superchargers and engine blocks are all there in the parts selector. Now I just have to adapt some more drag parts to try to push the config to it’s maximum capability, but I’m pretty busy this week so I don’t know when it will be out. For now you can customize your own version since that’s what I intended to do when I implemented parts for the engine, to bring more personalization and fun for this mod. Thank you, the suspension was work hard on and to be as realistically as possible so I'm really grateful that you liked it --- Post updated --- Could you please specify which vehicle has the electronically locking diff? This way it will help me actually implementing it into this mod sometime, also the air suspension was made to be soft since the car drives like a boat in real life and has very good comfort
