Ai Changing Colour

Hi guys,

Just a random question. Something I like about AI is when vehicles will randomly change colour when respawning, as it helps improve the allusion of more cars on the road.

I have noticed that some cars do this, while others don't (they stay the same colour every time). I've also noticed this is not strictly limited to vanilla mods, as vehicles like the 200BX do not do this, whereas a bunch of mod vehicles do.

So my question is this: is there a way to make this happen on a vehicle that it doesn't already happen on, like most modded vehicles?

No worries if not, just thought it would be a cool trick to learn if possible.

Ah ok, so whether it's a vanilla mod or one I've downloaded shouldn't make a difference? Is there anything I can do to make it work on others? I'd love to get it working on the 200bx, and also the old Caldera mod would be awesome.

 

So is there any way to make factory cars not change colors? While I like the concept of cars changing colors when they respawn, some colors are just unrealistic and I'd prefer them not to be changed (e.g. pink, green, brown, etc). Or is there any way to make AI vehicles only change to certain colors?
