    I'm trying to mod the steam version, but I cant access the folder, when I right click the shortcut I can find the "Open file location" and when I go through app data/local/beamng.drive/ there a re choices, update or alpha pre race, so I click on alpha pre race and nothing comes up?

    Wrong folder, that's your old install, delete it completely if you wish.

    The Steam folder is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive" by default.
