The U.S Accidentally dropped a nuke in my current state. It was found HANGING FROM A TREE inches from the ground.
It was completely an accident, the bomb didn't detonate because of a tree. Said tree is now a landmark I believe.

AFAIK, a lot of nukes will not actually detonate from an impact, they need to have a smaller charge inside electrically detonated to actually set the rest of the bomb off. still scary when you realise the amount of incompetence with something so powerful.
Yeah, they actually use altitude sensors to detonate the charge, so I'm happily surprised that it hasn't gone off, cause alot would have to fail for it to not have gone off...
