This 1969 Plymouth Fury III was originally created by StratumX for GTA. It was then converted for Dolphinity Racer ( www.racer.nl ). I have contacted StratumX via email and have recieved permission to convert it into BeamNG.
    1969PlymouthAd-03.jpg

    What It Includes:
    • Era Correct Torque Curves for the 318, 383 Super Commando, 426 Hemi and 440 Six Pack Engines
    • Era Correct Gear and Final Drive (Diff.) ratios for the 4 Speed Manual and the 3 Speed TorqueFlite Transmissions
    • Fully Modeled Engine Bay
    • Fully Modeled Interior
    • Working Lights
    • Custom Beam/Nodes
    • Reworked Jbeams
    • Custom Engine Sounds
I am happy to announce an update to V0.8!
I have been working on and off on the Fury since I released 0.5, admittedly not very actively, but I have fixed a majority of the problems from the first release. A ton of hours have been put into this project, and I have learned a lot along the way.

    New in Update V0.7 (5/20/2019):
    • New Model - Imported from GTA and reworked for BeamNG
    • Battery "spiking" issue fixed
    • Interior and Dash Textures in BeamNG
    • Custom Engine Sounds (still room for improvement - WIP)
    • Engine Torque values corrected to N.M. instead of Ft. Lbs. in Jbeam (My Mistake).
    • Automatic and Manual Transmissions Fixed - Now shifts properly, even in Arcade mode
    • Suspension Reworked - Now with several suspension options
    • Running Gear Mesh now loads in BeamNG
    • 4 Configurations With Thumbnails and Performance Statistics
    New in Update V0.8 (7/23/2019):
    • The Fury finally has Beams and Nodes That Fit to the entire car!
    • All lights are now fully functional
    • Universal Wheels are now supported! any 4, 5, or 6 lug wheels can be mounted
    • Alignment adjustments available
    • 318CI V8, 383CI “Super Commando” V8, and 2.76 Differential added, with configs
    • Engine sounds improved
    • More colors are now available to choose from
    • Suspension improved a bit
    • 5 New Configurations (9 in total) With Performance Statistics
    Bugs fixed in Update V0.8:
    • Deforming is greatly improved, not perfect, but vastly better
    • All textures renamed and organized, general material cleanup
    • Random transparent materials (control arms see through, frame showing through carpet, etc.) now fixed
    • Windows no longer have alpha issues with some interior textures
Bugs Fixed in Update V0.8.1 (7/25/2019):
    • Speedometer now has proper textures
    • Damaged Windshield model correctly sized/scaled
    Problems I know of currently:
    • Leaf Springs and Tierods are not visible, still need to fix mounts.
    Plans for the next update:
If all goes well, the next update will focus on a rather large suspension overhaul, as that is one of the last large projects that the Fury lacks. I’m not sure when I will get a chance to do this, but I will continue to work on it in my free time.

Re: 1969 Plymouth Fury III - Help Wanted

So you converted a car from another game and are now asking for someone to do the jbeam? I mean, unfortunately you aren't really doing anything :/ IMO if you are converting a car from another game you must be completely willing and have considerable skill in jbeaming. But hey, you do what you want, someone should come round and help you.

Re: 1969 Plymouth Fury III - Help Wanted

i do get what you are saying, but this was a gta model, meaning all of the chrome collection was one part, the body was one part, and the interior was one part. i spent two weeks alone learning blender basics and cutting and separating every little part to make it a functional setup for beamng, opening doors and trunk, and realistically removable parts, and i was quite dissappointed when i failed to get it on a working jbeam. i spent another good 2-3 weeks trying to get it in game, failing, then getting some parts in but not correctly, if needed i can remove this thread if it is pointless, but im just looking for it to get in game minimum, and from there i will work on handling, im not even really thinking about beams and nodes to crash it quite yet, i would just like to start and have it drivable

Try sticking it on the Moonhawk jbeam. 2 door muscle car should fit pretty well. Just rename all the parts to the names in moonhawk.dae and export the model as .dae. Copy the moonhawk folder, plop the new .dae in there with the file name as moonhawk.dae

You can figure out materials and adjusting the jbeam later.

I definitely, 100%, absolutely, without a single doubt in all of eternity, would love to see this happen. I think the Moonhawk platform is a great start. I too, know zilch about jbeaming Situations like this
    really sting damnit.

Re: 1969 Plymouth Fury III - Help Wanted

i did originally try to use the moonhawk jbeam, but instead of being logical and renaming the blender parts, i tried to rename all of the parts in the jbeam, which is probably why it didnt work. i found DrowsySam's example car and example jbeams in the wiki, that will definitely help, DrowsySam rocks for putting those up, they weren't there when i first started this project, those would have helped a lot! i think im going to use the moonhawk jbeam and the example car jbeams and start coding from scratch, ill also update the thread, it will stay, just be marked WIP. hopefully i will get the car driving within a few weeks, its a really nice model, the chassis and suspension are lacking parts, but the rest is well detailed, and i cant wait to get this working! thanks for all of the advice! i really appreciate it!

It would sure be nice to see this work out. We need more bulky fuselage type giants to wobble around in!

this model is NOT stolen from any game, it is a model by StratumX, built for GTA San Andreas, it is an old model though, so it could have been ripped and put onto "magnum force garage", but it has been converted with the permission of StratumX himself via email, which is stated in the starting post...

if I hadn't stated work on a derby car pack I would likely have taken the offer and worked the jbeam for it if the quality is as good as it looks on that mesh.

because I was litterally thinking of posting a thread for someone to donate me a mesh to jbeam because I wanted to sharpen my skills.;)

UPDATE: the Fury is now in BeamNG! the jbeams are completed and it now has a steering wheel. i finally got the automatic to semi behave like i want it to, and the suspension is getting to where i want it to behave as well. the main thing left that i am hoping to finish before release is the lights and possibly some of the dash textures. i have been mainly updating this thread by the main post lately, but i wil try to post more status updates as well :) i plan to get this released soon!
