drove south, had an average speed of around 350kph, covered 173.6kms, (107.8 mi), in the blackpool superlite... (ran out of fuel at 120kms, not bad for a 30ltr tank going 350kph lol) yea its endless, -1x-1 sqkm is probably infinite.. the car and map started to jitter quite a bit after around 90kms.. the ui was fine, the car was jittery as heck but it didnt affect the handling whatsoever my pc Single core amd sempron 145 boosted to 3.5ghz (somtimes works as a dual core lol) 4gb ram gt710 gddr5 2gb.
As I know, the map is recurring. I mean, if you drive in a straight line, sooner or later, you'll come back to the same place. Once I launched Bitron with Jato, toggled cruise control and then switched to another car, which was set near the start of Bitron. After some time it passed near the second car, then again and again. The interval was 5 minutes or so.
I suppose to start this map at the center of the planet surface 0.00 LAT , 0.00 LONG (Null Point). After You hit the border with an high range vehicle, coordinates will decrease (or increase again if are just negative). Consider an half turn as much as 20,037.5 km
It’s infinite, there’s also a map called Sherman Square that does something similar. Works the same way I guess.
Sherman Square is not infinite, you can see the end if you zoom out really far, it just teleports you to the center every time you are close to the edge, and it does it so well that you never notice it
another infinite map is Glow CITY. Just build a track or an HW with an external exit; then go to a direction. I sent a Cement Mixer Truck over 2500 mls far awau and then I sent an AT-TE (with powerplant in place of fuel based engine) to recover the truck and bring it back to base on top of the wheeled AT-TE.
