    Hmmmm....Guess its not just me with that same CPU! My older Haswell I5-4430 HP Envy desktop decided not to power up recently, so I swapped parts from it to an old Hp SFF I had in my closet. Doesn't do too bad! Seems like its a little quicker because of the clock speeds (3.6 vs 3.2) Anyways;

    HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF
    CPU: Intel Core I5-3470 @ 3.2Ghz
    RAM: 28GB DDR3 1600Mhz
    GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 1650 LP 4GB GDDR6
    HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda (Has pretty good read and write speeds for an HDD. Low to Mid 100s)
    OS: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit 21H1 (Not getting Windows 11 yet. Tried it on my laptop and I just can't get used to the interface)

    I like that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my desk compared to my old desktop, but its not good with airflow. I took the side panel off and just left it off once I was done with swapping parts. Stock HP psu is taking it pretty well.

    Ey! Youre improving! Just recommending 1 thing. Upgrading to a I5 10400 (what I have, runs like a beast, 6 core 12 thread)

    I'm planning to go intel 12th gen even if do even get intel, i probably want a ryzen 7 3800x instead because of the cheaper motherboards and me not wanting to use a stock cooler
