From Wikipedia In 2010, front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout became the only permitted layout in the class, prompting Honda to initially replace the first generation-based NSX GT with the HSV-010. In 2014, Honda was granted a waiver to allow the NSX-Concept GT and NSX-GT (both second-generation based models) to run with a midship engine to match the road car's engine position; the waiver expired at the end of 2019 season with the implementation of Class 1 technical regulations, after which Honda was required to redesign the NSX-GT to accommodate a front-engine layout. So, it wasn't legal to move the engine in SuperGT, but it was in GTE, like what Porsche did with the 2017 911 RSR. GT300 also had different rules, apparently there was even a mid engine V8 Prius.
Edited the front splitter and wing jbeam to fit the shape, the wing began to wobble weirdly so i lowered the spring of something and it fixed it, not sure if it's good or not but it'll do for now. Also added new mirrors.
This is actually closer to GT300 because it used the road car chassis. If you wanted to make it a true GT500 it has to be a Carbon tub like a LMP1 or Formula style car. For example this is what the 2017 NSX Tub looks like. \ 2017 GTR
Mmmh, i might make it a GT300 then. I'll probably make both, but i'll start with a GT300 since it will be easier to make.
You could base the GT500 on the Bolide since it has a pretty similar chassis, just make it carbon fiber and add roll cage instead of body, and adapt SBR panels to it
Would it be possible to add a custom steering wheel? Something like this one from the Toyota Prius GT300 car
View attachment 886573 View attachment 886574 Y Yes i will, although i will base it off the arnida sportivo so it's probably gonna be the same shape. But there'll be sifting lights and buttons.
Awesome, thanks! I feel like there is a significant lack of custom steering wheels in the game so I can't wait. Mod looks great so far! I'm not a modder so I have no idea how viable this would be, but maybe you could take the arnida sportivo wheel and just chop the top and bottom off to make it more of a yoke shape like what toyota did.
I could but there are a lot of round-ish steering wheels in gt300 so i think i'm gonna stick with it.
