Hey haha, yeah I've had it for 5 years or so now. Bought as a project from an ex Autograss racer who has probably owned at least 100 Imps. He's got a Police Imp Panda car and a Stiletto at the minute. Stripped the interior out, had the doors, bonnet and engine lid all shotblasted, welded, filled and painted in primer. Aquired a tonne of spares when the well known Steve Yates died and one of our family members sold all the stuff on while keeping bits back for me. I've got a 930cc engine to go in it along with mk3 Fiesta brake disc conversion, Monte Carlo springs, Imp Sport exhaust, bullet mirrors, Cosmic alloys, etc. Left it to rot on the driveway for best part of 4 years untouched, became a shed. I've just started getting round to doing a bit of work on it, prepping it for welding to all 4 arches. There's another person on here with an Imp but can't remember who they are, or if they're even active still lol. Sorry for going off topic too guys lol
I think Imp’s are awesome. My grandad had one not so long ago. I think them being rear engined was very unique at the time.
please if you two are going to talk about something that has nothing to do about the corsa just go somewhere private. this isnt funny anymore but in fact very rude
Hello guys, thank u everyone for the positivity, I didn't leave the mod, I'm working on it but with very little progress, I'm working on the unibody. I'll try to post some pics so y'all can have a look, again thanks everybody.
I wonder how many body style we will get... (Here is a list of all the body style this car can be found IRL : 3/5Dr Hatch 4Dr Sedan 5Dr Wagon Pickup Panel Van/ Window Van Cabrio )
This is incredibly based, in portugal the Corsa is also very popular, if you're considering adding more than one engine I suggest the GSi motor, 1.5 and 1.7 both diesel and turbodiesel and the 1.2 16v. If you're still doing this project could you give us an update? I wish you the best of luck
