Gavril Bastion drops the FPS

I expecting the game performance issue when i spawning and playing on the Gavril Bastion in every configuration of it. No one car drops the FPS except this one.

 

How much does it drops the fps ? It might be normal since it's probably more complex physically.

 

As average i have something between 45-52. Bastion lowers it to 32 or less.

 

does this change from map to map or does it consistently drop the framerate by roughly 15-20 fps?

 

I removed each detail one by one. It is Driving & Safety Electronics. After removing it the FPS back to normal like on other cars.
Maybe there's a bug in it, i don't know.

pretty sure the bastion has a higher detail model similar to the vivace. I play on a potato so I have issues with both.

 

Doing that on the Vivace or on the ETKs gets you the same result?

 

hm, id say for now your best bet is to just make configs for the bastion that come with that D&SE removed, since im guessing its either part of the script controlling the drive modes, or an issue with the component in your vehicle

just when you do it make sure you dont overwrite the original configs so that during bugfixes you can check to see that it is fixed,

its a shitty hackjob fix, but then again its quick and dirty, it works (minus a little stability control) and requires no real interference within game files

 

But how Driving & Safety Electronics influence on model detailing?

It's probably your pc having an issue with computing the dse, thus slowing down the game. Out of curiosity, what are your specs ?

By the way, what is "dse"? And can you please tell me where did you write the information about the specs of your PC? It's more convenient than write it every time.

 

DSE is an abbreviation for Driving and Safety Electronics.
In the top right corner, if you hover over your name, this should appear:

Your specs look a bit low but fine, but i'm pretty sure the cause of this is your cpu.

No, on ETK and Vivace it doesn't.

 

I have a mod that adds AWD for some vehicles and, also, ETK's DSE to other vehicles. Since I couldn't reproduce the FPS loss, try to use my DSE for Restomods to see if your FPS still tank. if it doesn't, it is the Bastion DSE's fault. If it does tank, the FPS drop is caused by how the car itself deals with DSE.
