Probably not the answer y'all were looking for, but my mom's first car (that she owned outright), was a '99 Mercury Cougar with the four-banger and an automatic. Around 200 were made. She sold it to an insane person who completely restored it in San Diego.
Oh, the Fiat Palio Weekend! These are really popular here in Brazil. We even had an Adventure version of it, with fender flares, raised suspension and even a locking differential in some of the later models. Also, earlier in the production, they made a 1.6 16v version, that had good performance back in the day.
I saw a Kaiser Darrin in blue a while ago, and in the same intersection a few months later I seen a 80's/90's F350 extended cab long bed.
a lot of 1 out of 1 VW in the VW Museum in Wolfsburg. VW Lupo RS, VW "Rovomobil", VW ID R Pikes Peak, and much more. too lazy to find pics rn
Two rare cars I've seen this year has been a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz (Only 1,320 made) And a 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertible with a 4 speed manual. (I'm pretty sure the production numbers on these is at most 20 ever made?)
the rarest car i have ever seen was a Holden hz overlander. Only about 11 were made i think and only a handful left
the rarest vehicle I've personally seen was probably an (i think) late forties Ford F-1 early 1950's f100 with a Mercedes turbo diesel swap.
Ferrari 288 GTO. I was lucky to sit in the passenger seat while my dad drove me around Pukekohe Racecourse in ‘86.
Recently, I have seen this BRABUS E65 Touring, based on the Mercedes S210 E-Class station wagon. It's the only one in Brazil, and, while we don't have official production figures, it's a known fact that they made very few of them.
I see old Unimog's most days of the week. There is a local company that converts them into RV's. They seriously such a cool vehicle.
For me, it's probably a Bugatti Type-35 on a Tasmanian highway. Rarest car I own is a 1997 Ford Falcon XR8 Option 20 170Kw. As far as I know there are less than 25 of them.
