there are free trials of both and msi afterburner is free. If you have an NVidia card there is NVidia shadowplay too.
mike9606, give this little free software a try. It is called Razer Game Booster. Besides boosting your game, it can also record a video and take screenshots. I use it and I'm happy with it. Here's the link: http://www.razerzone.com/ca-en/gamebooster I hope it helps you
Thanks I'll see if I can use it with BeamNG.Drive. If so, expect a video of me attempting to get this truck down corkscrew mountain. NOTE: There will be no timer, as since the timer is broken I did not risk installing it and messing my game up possibly. - - - Updated - - - Well I can record video, but my attempt video will not be up for a while. The reason being that glitches are making this harder than it should be. E.g. I jackknifed the trailer and it somehow got glued to the back of my cab even though it was not visibly touched the cab at all, and the fact that the brakes don't work as well as they should. I will do more attempts once this is updated to perform like the Pre-Race update D-15.
use OBS. here's a guide on how to get it working for local. http://timdrobinson.org/guides/obs-local-recording Free, and better quality and easier on the system than many others.
Razer game booster is also doing something you could easily do yourself via task manager, and taking up even more resources to do so, so combine that with recording, and its probably pretty high in terms of system resource usage (more so then the average recording software)
Well I found if you take the transfer case off it will cause the game to be stuck in debug mode and you have to restart the game.
worked fine for me up until earlier, not sure if it was with the new alpha update but the dually differential kills the engine and it wont run. this sucks because it is way better on control with the dually tires but you need a dually differential. also if you use just single back tires with a regular differential it is super slow.
Ofcourse, now when there is multi dae there is just some jbeaming to do. The one thing that needs to be changed is the fact that the t75 has stock fifth wheel, and in this mod the 'fifthwheel' is part of the trailer, not the actual truck. So the fifth wheel in this mod can removed, and then you just have to connect it to the t75. Takes a bit of work, but sure is possible. Fyi if you you use the 6wheeled pickup you can transer this with just putting jbeam and dae in the pickup folder and adding a slot in the 'pickup' jbeam for trailer and it's good to go. Easy
I don't know if I'm doing this wrong, but is anyone else finding that there is no manual transmission option available, regardless of what configuration/engine you select? Awesome truck so far OP, I was really looking forward to a challenging descent down the mountain with something like a truck.
