The sounds i demonstrated in the latest video are from OTR: Truck Simulator. If there is enough demand, I could include the kriech one as an addon, and in the future, there might be some other alternatives from renowned ETS soundmodders
I know I'm way late to this (busy week) but I can't imagine American trucks limited to 60 or even 70mph... what is all the power even for in Euro trucks when they don't even use it all?
They do use their power, to get to that speed quickly, even under a LOT of load, (ets2 moment, hauls 50tons upto 90+kph within minutes)
And, they can keep the speed up hills, without needing to change gears, as it would lose speed while doing so
I can't imagine trucks NOT being limited, if you crash into a truck that is going that fast it's certain death, it can't brake on time either, trucks shouldn't be made to go fast but instead to be able to haul a lot of heavy stuff at the same time with reasonable acceleration
The ATS dudes that choose the strongest modded engine for speeds over 100MPH: Hey. (Yes, I know it's a video game but still. Just wanted to make this unfunny joke.)
A truck simply cannot stop nearly as fast as a car, so it's really just the driver of the semi that is the differentiating factor. If he's smart about his following distances at whatever speed he's going, it won't matter, and if he isn't responsible about following distances, unfortunately I doubt he'll avoid what's in front of him regardless of speed, because he fails to provide proper following distance no matter what. Having said that, I do see the advantages of using the power for acceleration, as even in America most road traffic doesn't average above 85mph (137kph). This is from 2015, but still valid today: https://www.moderntiredealer.com/ar...tings-are-a-guideline-but-pressure-is-the-key
i know this has been asked at least a thousand times here, but im gonna ask it again anyways. is there any estimate on when the update will be released?
It's been asked a lot but it's best not to because the answer will almost always be the same: when it's ready
The classic answer is, of course, when it's ready. Of course whenever a developer says this, what everyone feels is probably dissapointment even if you understand the reasons, however we're working on it as much as we can considering it's still just a mod, and it just realistically cannot be a priority over many many more things. However, I should note that this does not mean it's not being worked on (and that there's no stuff going on in the background), it's just taking long. And lastly, I'm thankful to everybody here that understands it and kept sticking around and wasnt a typical BeamNG forum person Lastly lastly, if anybody is interested in working with us (me basically) on this mod, regarding jbeam or texture or models or just technical knowledge (I have plenty but there might be things I dont know) oooooor to just discuss anything bus or truck, feel free to contact me on Discord ^^
I've attached a PDF with a few dozen complex and highly modified TGX variants. Will this be in the next update?
I already have it in my collection As for if it will be in the next update, no, because we don't have a TGX
