its more to be kinder to the new guy by not harassing him with profanity i can say 'thats one hell of a fucking mod' and i doubt the mods would bat an eye but you start calling someone a fucking nitwit then the trouble starts to arise
its just that despite the fact that kids arent allowed to sign up here, they still do, and the devs try to make the community safe just in case they wander on, its not necessarily a bad thing, its actually nice to see a community mostly in order and civilized, its more or less an unspoken rule to hang back on profanity
the problem I got is that we saw too much people landing here like landlord claiming for things without asking themselves what's actually possible to do and aproximately how much time it could take, and on the other hand we saw too much good content creators fade away because new people didn't know how to behave! maybe i was a little harsh and i'll willingly send my apologies to @fooooooolllooo for my rudeness but this forum is already too poorly done for us to bear continuous bumps
the forum has always been in this messy state, its a fact of life, has it gotten a little worse? yes, but at the end of the day, being aggressive and assertive to new members isnt going to do anything but teach them that the only way to communicate here is being just as aggressive, if not more so i do respect you for going back and apologizing, however, as that is the right thing to do

Hi there, I see that you're pretty new to the BeamNG community. Let's get some important things cleared up: Before reporting bugs about a released mod, please do check when the last mod update is released, or when the last message from the corresponding thread is posted. If, say, you're in 2022 and the mod you downloaded is from 2017, then there's a pretty fat chance that the mod is what people call "broken". A "broken" mod is called broken because it is so outdated that it could -- and most likely would -- break your game. When checking if a mod is outdated or not, always check both the repository page and the forums page. Just because a mod is labelled "WIP Beta Released" on the forums does not mean that it's not "Outdated" on the repo page. Also, whenever you're posting, think before you post. Don't be unnecessarily shouty. If you don't have anything useful to say in a thread, then the best thing to do is to keep quiet. AKA don't bump old threads. You also probably should've read the Forum Rules before posting anything in the first place. If you haven't, then please do so, now: Forum Rules - BeamNG.drive Violating the Rules can eventually lead to your account being banned (yes, banned, and in the most serious of cases, permanently banned)
I don't get why people quote other people's posts without saying anything themselves but ok ...... maybe I'm just a weirdo.
In the future, how about we keep this thread free of clutter such as "bruh" and why the mod's thread shows a different status from the mod's repository entry. The two are pretty much mutually exclusive. Here are a couple of configurations I've implemented to the Roamer Sport after adapting a few more parts today, mostly trim pieces. I will probably wait until the new year before I re-re-re-re-release the mod, partly because I still need to do more quality assurance, add configurations and apply thumbnails, and partly because the devs deserve the new year and maybe a couple more days after that for leisure for what amazing work they've done all year. Happy 2023 in advance!
Sorry for the bump, I just had something to say, I did agree that I was gonna bump the thread. Isn’t this in the Gavril Roamer Small pack now?
