Wow this tread makes me dumber just reading it. There is nothing to speculate, guys. stfu before this gets locked again.

And yes, BeamNG absolutely 100% requires some form of player-oriented objective-based mode with progression. All it is without that is a really cool ultra-realistic physics tech demo. If you want a tech demo, go to E3 or CES. This is a game and it must do game things. The fact this is even up for debate is, quite frankly, hilarious.

No, the scenarios don't count. That's like saying whipped cream on top of a cracker is a pie.

This community, I swear. I've been here almost 10 years and it just keeps getting worse. I feel awful for the devs. They just CANNOT please you people.

I don't think Carrer mode would be this small of a thing on the main Menu... if it was new I think it would have way more emphasis on the UI

It’s ok… I wouldn’t call it the worse April fools joke ever. Probably convinced a few of the young ‘uns lurking around here.

 

I think if there is a career mode then there will probably be a rally career as well. Driving the rally cars in beamNG is absolutely amazing, so it would make sense. Also, not many cars would have to be loaded at the same time. There will probably never be races with a 24 grid because it simply requires too much cpu performance.

 

career mode will probaby include rally.
And there are already races, of couse not with 24 cars but with 4-8 it's possible

 

Nah, it was nice. Very predictable, yes, but it still is somewhat effective.

Back to speculation: it certainly takes a lot of time to create a cohesive feature like Career Mode has to be. But it seems that the picture dart posted is somewhat smoothing the ground as to the variables at play in this feature.
