Nice work Nadeox! Looks real ! I started this a couple days ago, yet unnamed and in early stages. A long and windy cliff side road. Just purchased Bobs Track Builder, so this is my BTB learning level ! lol (imported from here)
I'd leave those...things....off the map. Not to insult you, but the def look too "late-80's" graphics for what the rest of the map/cars look like...At least make them sprite images? (or whatever those constant-viewed rotating pictures is called, like the trees in TDU2 or something)
Ehm.. I don't know how to do forward facing sprites currently so...... yeah btw they'll only be in a few fields to save fps
Here you go: http://docs.garagegames.com/torque-.../World Editor/Adding Objects/GroundCover.html Its pretty easy to do once you have done it once. It really does improve how a map looks a ton if you get this right, good luck. This also fills the terrain for you based on ground texture rather than you having to place them manually so it will take much less time to add.
I have a problem, why does it have shadings? It really annoys me because i have been trying to fix it alot of times and still it shows some shadings, i really want this damn thing gone. Here is the picture of the problem with a wireframe.
In face mode, select all and then from the left panel. under Normals -> Recalculate If that wont work. Then select all vertices and press W and choose Remove doubles
Currently in the making of A Gavril grand marshal Muscle Only just started and the spoiler is the first thing What do you guys think?
He is talking about the spoiler I think. Looks like you selected a face from the trunk and extruded. Then did the same to create the horizontal part. That's not the correct way to make a spoiler and will end up looking blocky.
:/ I am still a newbie at blender I think i know a way of smoothing the spoiler though i am currently working on the engine Power at the moment - - - Updated - - - Oh and the blocky-ish Type spoiler Is like that for a reason I am basing the spoiler off of this with slight edits
I have not bought the game yet due to real life financial issues. But I do plan to eventually buy it in the future. This is being made for RoR ATM, but since it turned out so well, I would like to introduce it to BeamNG, once I can finally buy the game.
Now that looks an interesting truck...I hope to see it soon down in the mods section of this Site, for an RoR model it looks extremely high Definition...
Thanks. Here is a wireframe. It is somewhat low poly. This is my best model I have ever done. And a shot of the underbody. And one of the driveline stuff.
