West Coast Drag Strip timing starts with the wrong trigger

In BeamNG, the timing of the drag strip starts when the light goes green. In real life, it starts when the tires leaves the second beam. I.e. when the lower of the double yellows go dark after the front wheels are on their way.

Can this please be fixed?

 

4drian is correct. Drag race timing systems do not start the timer until the car turns the stage beam "out" (unblocks the infrared sensor beam).

 

Same issue on the new Gridmap.

Another issue i found as well: You can't redlight anymore. You can just go whenever after the countdown starts.

 

The drag strip issues just keep building. Now you redlight by just moving. IRL you can move on yellow as long as your tire doesn't leave the second beam.

This compounds with the original timing issue, as you can't stage properly nor take advantage of the rollout.
