Well, the old 2006 HD15 Prerunner is off to a new owner as of a couple weeks ago. I've needed some motivation to work on a new truck, and now seems like as good of a time as any. I've had the perfect donor truck sitting around for a while, a 2001 HD15. The clearcoat may be gone from spending it's life in the Southern California sun, but the cab is pristine. As much as I loved the old prerunner, there were some flaws that could be addressed in the new build, so I listed some of the improvements below.

• Crew Cab on shorter (Extended Cab) wheelbase
• Chassis / Cage Redesign
• Engine Pushed Forward
• QMS I-Beams instead of L-Fab Centermount J-Arms
• New Camburg Rear End & Hubs
• Upgraded to Aluminum 90gal Fuel Cell over 24gal
• King Coilovers and Triple Bypasses
• 40" BFG KR3 on Methods
• New Mounting System for larger spares
• LED third brake light cluster
• Street Legal

The long wheelbase and centralized weight of the old prerunner made it unwieldy through whoops and more likely to bottom out. The new truck might weigh 670lb more, but the increased travel, redesign of the suspension geometry, and weight distribution allow for it to handle anything I throw at it.

 

So I picked up the blue truck I bought the other day and I already traded it for a service truck. I need a truck for my welding shop and I found the perfect one. Ill show it soon along with the mud truck I bought the other day.

Is that black one based off of a dodge ram 50?

 

It may be based off of that, It's an EMX felino, but I don't think thats an IRL car, so maybe the felino was based off of it.

Got the old service truck home today. Its a 6.5 Detroit and it came with a bed so I swapped them out. I plan on using this truck for my shop just to haul equipment around. I also got my old Chevy going again after sitting for 3 months.

 

Picked up this truck about 4 months ago. It was in an accident before i purchased. Sat for quite some time before I picked it up. Rebuilt from accident very little rust. Runs great, rusted exhaust .

 

Went to go see the city.

 

Where did that white truck come form? I remember seeing it in one of Frizeris' videos once for a split second. And I want to try it out.
