Maluch JBeam rebuild

    I need to say this, testers please don't report small model issues, this is not my model and it's not well made, it would be a pain to fix for me, and a new one is coming in 2.0 anyway. This was supposed to be just a Jbeam remake, fixing the model would delay the release by so much.

    Lowered weight of the rear fenders by a half for proper weight of the rear half of the chassis and also to unify the Jbeam of them more with the front fenders which were better made. It seems like it also fixed the spike issue. While I was at the fenders I also fixed some bad decisions I did when I made them initially. The fenders will no longer clip with the doors, taillights, rear bumper and decklid. The Jbeam is cleaner overall in the rear half.
    Jbeam of engines redone and the weight differences between them are now reasonable. (around 3kg between 600cc and 650cc instead of around 20kg lol, I didn't know much about engines when I made it originally). The difference is now in the cylinder area, the fan has always the same weight so that heavier engines don't tilt to the side. Engine Jbeam has proper geometry now and there should be less weird deformation. Catalytic converter has weight now. And it's quite heavy. Oil pan also modified and shouldn't have random oil starvation anymore hopefully.
    600 decklid is now 3kg lighter than the 650 one like it is irl due to having no vertical side reinforcements, obviously it's also weaker now.
    The lower weight in the rear is noticable, it's not as easy to spin out now, which I think is realistic.

    I found some technical info on a Chinese export version in the FL manual which metions it. Apparently it used a really crappy carburetor that lowered the torque to 38Nm and the horsepower to 22 lol.. Added it in game. It lowers the top speed to just 102 km/h, and says that it's advised to never drive above 80. I can make the famous Chinese taxi version now.
    Also confirmed that 600kg was the weight of FL version with full equipment, not ST.
    And also the Cabrio version had rack and pinion steering (I still have to make it), and there was an export version of it equipped with a catalytic converter, and that version was 80% of the production units of the car so it must be included too.
    There is so much stuff to fix still, I will worry about adding this stuff after I fix the bugs.

    Push bar clipping with some bumpers
    Center lug wheel hubs no default wheels specified
    Secret thrusters too strong
    Exploding suitcases
    Headliner floating
    Holes and lack of smoothing on door meshs
    Rear bumper not visually conneced to body
    Transmission clips through floor slightly on bumps
    Headlight frames not 100% fitting headlights
    Also made it so that on the el body the headlights are inset a bit like irl

    I'm not able to fix the rest of the model issues unfortunately. They are caused by some things being one sided and I would have to model the other side which is too complex for me. And it would take too much time even if someone else would do it.

    Todo:
    Add rack and pinion steering option
    Update/fix configs that are wrong
    Add Chinese configs
    Add Niki configs
    Fix some skins
    Redo performance testing
    New thumbnails
    Final testing

    Well, I made it a bit dirty, here is the Chinese taxi. It replaces the 650 taxi config which made no sense.

    Also there's standard Chinese version, which apparently appeared a few years after the taxi as it was illegal to own a private car in China at the time.

    I did but they are outdated after the changes done to the model and configs. Mostly details but still there need to be new ones.

    Rack and pinion steering system added. Used in most RHD export versions and in the Cabrio, as well as the BIS which won't be added yet.

    It is quite different from the normal steering this car has, which is a recirculating ball steering system.

    The rack and pinion system is newer and superior, here are some of its advantages:
    • It's lighter
    • It's stronger
    • It's simpler to repair
    • It allows for easier RHD conversion of a LHD vehicle, instead of 'mirroring' the whole system it just requires moving the pinion
    • Implementing power steering is easier in this system
    Kinda weird that it was never added to the base Polish version. Maybe because of the main disadvantage, which is that it's worse to use on bad roads and off-road due to higher friction and backlash effect. Or just that the Polish mechanics were used to the normal one for decades so changing it would increase service costs instead of decreasing them.

    Could be used as one but it was meant as a modernized alternative for the old roof rack and came as a factory option for the FSM Niki.
    It is done now.
