There's also an issue that other variants of the AE86 are still black even if I try changing their body colors. I hope there will be a hotfix that can solve this issue... looking forward to it. Edit: This is a video of the demonstration with regards to the issue: (The car is an AE86 SR...)
Hey man, i like your mod! But there is a small problem. The speed chime sound continues turned on even when the car is stopped. I hpe you fix this problem!
The code in the mod is old and broken. I've attached a working, rewritten version that also only plays if the player is near the driver cam node. Drop that in "vehicles/Toyota_Ae86/" and delete the blinker.lua file in the same directory. If anyone makes another fix for the mod feel free to use this.
I don't know much about lua coding, but could it be possible to turn the volume down if the speed is 0? then the chime would go off if the car respawns... (i guess) or would the game then try to lower the volume every "physics frame"? maybe i'll try some stuff out... --- Post updated --- or was that fixed with DaddelZeit's fix?
I haven't tried his fix but making the volume 0 doesn't work. It's the solution I came up with in my original fix for the speed chime but it always stayed on after reset if it was already on.
Ive been trying to figure out on how to change the rpm limit on the blacktop 7A-GE do you know where that engine file is? i could only find the other 3 engines in the main file
It's a forum mod, which means it's not lore-friendly & not on the repository. You can find the .zip file of the mod on the first page of this thread. or... Go to this page for a download link to a hotfix: https://www.beamng.com/threads/toyota-ae86-trueno-levin.52119/page-146
