I have a fervent disagreement with paid mods but although I think that yet my hand is reaching for the wallet anyways... Huh. Could be because it looks so good and the price is so cheap. Even if I disagree I'm not entirely above it, considering that I forked quite a sizeable amount of cash for Assetto Corsa mods (RSS Formula Hybrid mods)

Imma buy it in a sec

My only question is future-proofing like do I have to buy it again if the car gets updated?

 

I have actually shelled out the money for this, one thing I would like improved would be the Jbeam, the body structure seems way too solid for a 90s small city car.

 

Oh boi, then you haven't seen what people doing in the GTA modding scene. Its way wrose then this. I can tell. Just guys be thankful. Don't let people piss off to increase prices or considering not to share it anywhere. No one is forced to do mods like this. They can quit anytime. If you don't feel paying for it. Just don't do it. And if you think that it should be free, just get part of the system to change it! Make your own mod and see how you feel then about it.

Its 5 dollars, its worth it and you can most likely afford it. If not, do some work or sell some stuff or dont complain

As the other people in this thread have said, five dollars for a one-time purchase of a very well-made car mod that will subsequently get updates for free seems like a no-brainer, at least for me.

I would love to support creators with a similar system provided that the content they offer is of good quality, and this ticked all of the boxes of a well-made mod.

I bought it on Ko-Fi. It requires you to create an account before you do it, and after the purchase, the purchase sticks to that account so you can access it whenever.

 

you just download a new version from kofi/gumroad

 

you receive an email containing the new version whenever I push an update out

 

I'm about to buy this, this is EXACTLY what the Beam Devs are missing in the game. As I've heard its DEV quality, so I think it would be cool if the Devs paid Lucas to put it in the game, then everyone would be happy?
But personally, I don't see whats wrong with spending 3 quid on months of hard work tbh.
