Hey everyone! So i want everyone to be aware of this possible scam. If you ever see this guy, don't respond, just ignore. I'm posting this in this very forum. So everyone can be aware of this possible scam.
Now while I can see the concerns such people have with "paid mods ruining modding" this mod is simply not an example of such things. This is dev quality work. If you want to bitch about paid mods, go to the places with patreon subscriptions for shitty meshslaps. Not here.
i always stayed silent in almost 3/4 years watching all forums (in fact i just created an account this year XD) but i want to say something: i know that 4 euros can be nothing for someone but they can be everything for someone other. I know too that the big problem is that Lucas never made clear that this mod was going to be paid but being angry with someone for a car... isn't it a bit much?
This thing is awesome! Also i made a dirt rally config to go with the asphalt one. But that torsion beam suspension tends to bind up and bounce. And beamng's own .pc config files aren't allowed to be uploaded. Cause reasons.
Good job Lucas, you've managed to distill the essence of loads of 90's euro hatch backs into one little car. Setting a Bridge to Gantry time around the Nordschleife in the little diesel van was both fun and exhausting! Just wondering if you're going to bring any other wheels or hubcaps for the car? The 6star wheels you made are great, but the plain black wheels the Young version has seems more broken banger rather then budget runaround. Also is the rear wiper meant to be so droopy, and is there a possibility for it to be removable?
I feel this might be the demise of the BeamNG modding community, although i haven't seen any actual fandom fall apart because of a problem like this so what do i know
Made 2 track oriented builds from a GTi Turbo and a City. The City model has mostly parts from the GTi Turbo, including the turbocharger and suspension. Why does the City model have one seat you ask? Well, weight reduction
To the one that leaked it, rest assured I am already having discussions with Modland to get your information and engage in legal procedures. Same thing for any other leak I might find. Theft is still a crime
It is literally piracy. taking something that is paid for and publishing it on another site for profit? (I know these sites are loaded with ads so yes it is for profit.) I would create a Virtual computer and keep an eye on all these third-party modding sites. I say make a VM because you don't really want to be browsing them on your main machine because of malware.
