Released Cherrier Picnic ('92 - '03) [PAID] 1.4

Why?

 

The Picnic is a perfect example of why paid mods for Beam don’t work and never will; A mod leak is inevitable and there’s no way to prevent it. And while I believe that you deserve some money for all those hours of hard work, I can’t see paid mods ever working. Imagine you bought it before it was leaked, and then saw everyone else get it for free? I’d want a refund…

 

OR you could not be an ass and get the paid version.

 

You could, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re paying for it whilst others are getting it for free.

 

No actually. I don't want a refund. In fact, I'm feeling good about having purchased the mod because I supported a good mod maker.

 

The mod has a link to gumroad. you can't just download it.

 

i mean, do you want a beamng refund just because some people pirate the game? lol
dont get me wrong, i get your point, mods should be free.

Seen the same argument when people buy games on Steam then it goes for free on EGS later (not that I support EGS at all), and as a result feel cheated and want a refund. It's bizarre.

 

At least it's not illegal, it's kind of like missing sales. I can totally understand how it's mildy annoying.

 

If that's legit you & you published it after we all paid for it, ngl id be kinda pissed & want a refund,
i get some things get leaked but when it's from yourself the OC after it is/was initially a paid mod
regardless if others try leak it you don't upload it yourself for free considering we paid for it and it's future updates.

This is not a hate comment it's more of a WHY do that.

it's not on there for free?? it's just linking to the gumroad page to buy it, that way leakers can't upload it on modland as it'll be treated as duplicate.

people who want it free will press download only to go to the page to purchase it

I am so so sorry, i thought it was the actual leaked car in which we paid for, the biggest idiot award today goes to me.
Again you deserve the contributions it's €4 honestly there's no complaining it's so good and the quality is unreal you deserve
it and this is with future updates too so honestly i ask everyone here to support Lucas cause the detail is immense and so
damn good aka dev quality.
