You're right, true that, had forgotten that car.
But again, the GTC4 is a Grand Tourer, not a Supercar (so nothing like the Civetta model we're discussing here) and it's also like the Purosangue: a practical car for people who want to have the choice to get the smaller and more practical engine for every day driving.

You're right on this one too, because we're talking about a game. BeamNG lore is different than real life lore.

 

Also, the first generation of Audi R8 had a V8, and all followings gens (after 2012) have a V10 instead.
And even if this isn't very common irl, (have various cylinder types across different trims) they still can make several engine options for a better variety ingame, and satisfy most players possible.

 

You're also right too. But the R8 is German, Germans are used to offering many different engine types across their models!
But yeah, we must not eliminate the possibility of Civetta offering different engines (with different amounts of cylinders) in a single model. I just say I want model variety in the Civetta brand (the small V6 baby Civetta, the mid-grade V8 model and the V10/V12 flagship), not engine variety in only one Civetta model.

 

I have a feeling that the developers will give up 3 updates a year, in favor of 2, but with more content and fixes.

 

i know im late for this but most folks wont know what a MR car means, so american journalists will most likeley infer it as Mr. Turbo, just 'cause.

 

I like Mr. Turbo. One thing that I hope we get in 0.26 is a few revamped american cars or a new US shitbox from like 1999

 

It would be really cool to go the McLaren/Koninsegg route, with all of the above models being on the same basic floorpan, with different styling (possibly 60s/70s retro for the driver-oriented RWD version or 80s bolide corse for an electric or hypercar variant) and nameplates, and not different trims of the same car.

 

True! Especially since there is two unused engine sound (V10 and V12) in the game. Sounds that would suit perfectly for a supercar.
Or maybe the V10 sound is intended to fit on an another secret project. Carrera gt, Lfa, M5f10 etc.. Hmmm, at this point, with that in mind, all kind of speculation is possible^^

The V10 sound can also fit in a large American V10!

Yeah, an Asian-American 90s Shitbox would be a great addition!
A 70s US Shitbox could also be included, because this is yet another niche not yet represented in BeamNG!

It's interesting that both the first trailer release for Beam back on CryEngine 3, and the release to Steam both happened in May. It seems big things happen for Beam in May. POSSIBLY looking too hard into it, thought it was interesting though.
