kinda wish that would change fr fr they ruining this community by the day

 

I think I'm gonna take a bit of a break from BeamNG modding and focus on other things.
Maybe I'll drop by every once in a while to do a small mod, but I don't think I'm gonna do bigger projects for a while.

Hey, so i noticed that the JBX100 is based on the JZX100 cars.

And as a big fan of this mod, i would like to make a suggestion.
The Mark II, Chaser, and Cresta all had a 2.0 BEAMS I4, 1JZ, and a 2JZ.
And you might be guessing this, but yeah, maybe put the 2.0 I4 from the 200BX into the JBX? I don't have any modding knowledge, but I'm pretty sure with a ready model most of the work should be done for you.

 

If you had followed this thread for a little bit you'd have seen that it used to have the 200BX engine but was removed due to conflicts with another part of their mod. They also stated they were done modding so they won't change that.

no intake manifold
exhaust is too long on 200bx exhaust is too short on jbx

 

Exhaust is ok.

 

"hmmm yes the parts that arent made for the car dont fit"

 

Intake manifold is because the OEM twin turbo is the only currently supported engine configuration. Any other bits in there are left overs from an old engine version that I haven't removed / remade.
Exhausts I had forgotten about to be honest.
