Update 3 Small update but big WIP Hello again! Here I bring to y'all some more improvements and updates to some places that needed it when I first started this project. First off would be the check points, those have been almost readily finished, here's the progress of them and some other stuff. Check point 1 Check point 2/landslide/roads/gas station Now, here comes probably my most favorite part about this project! The bridge that connects Check Point 1 to the other side of river! Thanks for looking Please leave your suggestions if you have any
Great work with the map! This is the most convincing post-apocalypse/abandoned map I've seen for the game so far.
Update 3.4 Couldn't wait but, here's this to show y'all. It's a tunnel that leads to.. a different city within Firwood County, could be a separate map that's coming in the far future. Keep in mind this checkpoint is still in the works. WIP
Finally took the time to release a trailer that was probably needed and say, I had alot of fun making it. But! This isn't the only trailer that will be made, there'll be more that will be coming. Hope y'all like it since it took me a week to make it
Oh my GOD!! It looks so GOOD! Best trailer I’ve ever seen, I’m serious!! Increased my excitement for this map by 200 percent. <3
Hey thank you! I try my best to push the best product I can with my not so experienced-self lol but I'm glad you like it! And so may others too. One thing, the release date of the map should come soon within the end of this month or the beginning of June as the map is nearing completion, plus I'll probably have some people picked for beta testing in case there are any bugs or things that shouldn't be there or look out of place. So stay tuned
18gb since I'm running the map on high settings, should work fine with lesser powerful cards since I used to work on the map with a 1060 though idk how it'll perform with 16gb and 32gb ram cards. Should be fine with a little fps drop either way.
The map looks excellent! Gives off very strong Project Zomboid vibes. The livery pack from it would not be out of place here. Keep up the progression!
I like it! The video perfectly describes the situation and, as it were, refers us to the situation with the coronavirus, but I have no words! I'm waiting for this map!
Release date: November 10th 2022 Update 3.6 Another small update with some info. Scroll down to see the info Here in this update, I just went along some roads and gave them a little bit more detail; this is where the vegetation took its course and completely covered a section of road but don't be of worry, you can drive around this while going through. Won't say or where the detour is WIP Some collapsed bridges and roads near the watch tower, still able to be driven on. And some news regarding the map. I know some of y'all may like me for setting the release date so far but it's for me to make sure the map is up and ready to go. And give beta testers the time to find any bugs or abnormalities that are in the map. lol After the release of 0.25, the latest update, East Coast USA was updated with PBR textures. Because of this, the map will be switched over to with PBR textures to give the map a better look, if you were wondering. I tried converting the textures of ANECUSA all is well except for the terrain turning black, though I should be able to fix it. Will also be changing the backdrop to the new and updated one in ECUSA. Thanks for looking :>
There are offers on the map: 1) what about links to the nicknames of beta testers in the form of survivor notes on the walls, as it was in left 4 dead? 2) is it possible to implement artificial intelligence of paths, for example, to organize a chance on those parts of the map where roads are more or less suitable for this? 3) is it possible, if possible, in addition to cars and trees, to add infrastructure objects to the map that can be interacted with, such as gates or "road closed" signs? I assume that most of this will be unrealistic to create, but I hope that some of it will get on the map in one form or another. Thank you, I'm sure the map will be great.
I could try; 1) There aren't any beta testers as of now, I still need to get around to that, shouldn't be long before I pick some people if they wanna test. Looking for anyone really that seems trustworthy. And that's a good idea, could probably do something like that, leaving pages, spray painted signs, etc. 2) I don't know about that. I don't have the knowledge to do something like that. Like how it was on that one Halloween map with the ghost car, don't know the name of it but it's popular. But for now, should just be able to use the "script AI manager." 3) For interacting with stuff, I know it's a possibility featured on one map, but it's out of my range. About the gates and road closed signs, or just those kinds of custom props in general will be added later on down the line after the initial release of the map. Still need to learn how to do all that stuff, unless someone could help me. Mentioning a version for low-budget PC's, (even though it's not really a version, could count it I guess) I was thinking of creating a version that's "less" abandoned compared to the one now. One with roads that aren't completely overgrown/destroyed, bridges, etc.
