Released FR17 2022 SOUND MOD I v0.4 UPDATE

Hey everyone!

This is my first mod for beamng
I decided to create a mod for FR17 car that changes the sound to more realistic 2022 sounds.

You can select out of five different sounds

• Honda (RBPT)
• Ferrari (three variations)
• Renault (two variations)
• Mercedes (two variations)
• Formula 2 (wip)

All these sounds are taken from 2022 F1/F2 onboards

How to install?
1. Open your mod folder
2. Open FR17 mod archive/folder
3. Go to vehicles/enginesounds and replace file FR17.mp3 with custom sound you choosed

custom engine sound file must be named "FR17.mp3", if it isnt, it wont work

btw the mercedes sound ingame (idk if it also happens on other sounds) starts stuttering? idrk how to say it. I could send a clip if you want

What an amazing sound mod! Been using the Ferrari sound for awhile and I've had zero issues so far.

Hello the Ferrari Variant 2 sound looks real, I tried all of them and they look nice but I want something of better like having continuous sounds like in Assetto Corsa, you're the only one who posted f1 sounds.

I would like to have these sounds as new engines, instead of replacing the default FR17 sounds

do i need to delete the original sound cause i cant copy paste or drag it into the FR17 Sound folder

 

Hello, i am not sure what would happen if you leave both sounds in the folder, in my experience i just backup the original file and replace it with the sound i want

 

Is there a way to restore the original sound? Like the genius I am, I forgot to backup the original file

 

Don't want to try to revive the discussion but I can't quite seem to be able to actually copy the file into the FR17 mod page. Like I can't paste it. Was going to use this mod cause it sounded like an awesome addition to the already epic mod, but I can't paste it to the engine sounds mod file. And whenever it does let me paste it, the car just goes flying into the air. Am I suppose to deep clean my cache?
