Re: What?s your phone? you guys are going to laugh at me but I have a iphone 3g with updated software.... Iphone 5 software. I basically have a Iphone 5 in aa iphone 3g shell.
Re: What?s your phone? If you are running a 3g with all the iphone 5 fetures such as siri then you deserve more respect than someone who simply upgrades to get them. I see no reason to laugh, more power to you.
Re: What?s your phone? I use psx4droid too! I've never had trouble with it, has worked flawlessly with any game I've thrown at it. The only thing that I believe it would improve it, is the possibility of modifying the position of each button on the screen individually, such as MyBoy! GBA emulator has. For now I haven't tried any DOS emulators on this phone apart from BOCHS to run Windows 98, mostly since I only play DOS games on the computer, but I will definitely try those two emulators you say and see how they go
Re: What?s your phone? Agreed. Still doing better than me, I have a first generation LG Cosmos and my case is falling apart.
Re: What?s your phone? You would be surprised how good some of the games for these phones can be if you get the correct ones. These J2ME phones aren't as bad as people make out and the battery lasts forever. If you want some really awesome games for on that phone then i can definitely recommend galaxy on fire 2. should work on that phone and kept me entertained for hours. Rally master pro is also really good and surprisingly smooth on j2me phones. I had them running on a Sony Ericsson w595 before i got my s2. There are tons of good games for these j2me phones but it is hard to find them from a legal source, it is also easier to get them from illegitimate sources. But beware as there are lots of fake apps etc. 300kb is about correct for a high quality 3d j2me mobile phone game. Websites like mobile9 have tons of stuff but there can be some utter rubbish on them.
Re: What?s your phone? Hell yeah, more people in the Nexus club. I haven't changed the ROM on my Nexus 4 or my Nexus 7 because I love the pure, unmolested version of android that comes with having a google device (Not knocking against custom roms, I just hate all the bloatware and unnecessary changes Samsung makes to the android they include on their products). Why did you chose that custom ROM over the vanilla android? I could be missing out on something.
Re: What?s your phone? When I stop using PIE Controls on ParanoidAndroid, the Navigation Bar comes back up and the screen feels smaller :S. I use a custom launcher as the constant search bar on the stock launcher is quite annoying. I suppose one of the main points with Nexus devices, is the sheer amount of customization you can do with it, custom ROMs, kernels, launchers to make the device more personalized. In particular, ParanoidAndroid brings many features that stock Android simply doesn't have. For example, Halo on ParanoidAndroid is a very good way of multitasking, almost like MultiWindow from Samsung but not so similar it can be seen as copied. It also lets me change the status bar and navigation bar for each individual app making the entire experience more unified. I suppose its a personal preference, but I did get a bit bored with the stock ROM so I decided to play around a bit.
Re: What?s your phone? Congratulations on owning the best camera phone out there with amazing stereo recording capabilities! I have it too, not a fan of the os though
Re: What?s your phone? I got a old LG optimus x2 (P990) which is one of the first double core phones ever made. Sadly so is it a pretty closed phone (can't root it) with a pretty bad Android OS on it (not even optimized to use double cores). Just knowing how few fucks LG gives about their ''older'' phones so am i most likely never going to buy a phone from them again!
Re: What?s your phone? XDA has tonnes of rescources, ROMs, kernels and all in one toolboxes. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=999
Re: What?s your phone? Lg Optimus Elite w/ root. Single core processor at 800 MHz (which is weird because i go up to 1024 MHz with SetCPU) 512 MB Ram/4096 MB ROM. 1GB built in storage. Can go up to 32 GB with MicroSD. 5 MegaPixel Camera w/ LED and AutoFocus
Re: What?s your phone? It's an HTC Desire! (rooted) It is running Evervolv Turba 3.2.0p4 ROM (Android 4.2.2) Also I have Mounts2SD installed because 512MB of storage is not enough for me. My next phone is probably going to be the Nexus 5 when it comes out. EDIT: Also it's pretty slow. Released in 2010. My tablet is a 32GB Wifi-only Nexus 7 (rooted) The ROM on this one is stock Google Android 4.2.2 On both of my devices I use Nova Launcher and the new camera app from the Google Play Edition devices. Unfortunately the photosphere does not work on my phone because it doesn't have a gyroscope and doesn't work on the Nexus 7 because it doesn't have a back camera.
