BeamNG Experimental Branch Feedback Thread

    Yep. Same problem here. Tried re-writing inputmap, cleared cache, troubleshoot controller in windows and nothing works.

    Torque3D loads the inputmap, I can see in the console that it "SUCCEEDED" in loading it and then displays my echo'd string in the inputmap.

    The input test works with my controller, but the car doesn't respond at all.

    Any help devs?

    WiP and should be fixed. All surfaces on that track right now are incredibly grippy. :p

    I'm sure this is a known bug, but the Sunburst clipped through the guard rails along the side of the Hirochi Track.

    Here is also a quick video of me having fun with the cargo van. That one crash into the pigeon also caused my game to crash for no apparent reason.

    Exactly what is happening to me, Please help devs? I looked in beamng.cs and stuff has changed but I don't know what to do to make it work.

    That embedded video does not work.

    But I looked at the raw link, nice video. I really like the way the cars are so realistic sitting on things and bouncing up and down.

    I have to say, BeamNG is one of the few games I know where putting a physics object inside of one doesn't make the game explode. Very impressive.

    Hopefully this hasn't already been mentioned.. I have a bit of a bug to report.

    With the "Big Ramp" object in the vehicles list, when you drive off the side of the ramp (Trying to do a barrel roll or something) the game often glitches. Sometimes the car gets stretched out and the skeleton is distorted, and sometimes the game simply decides to stop working and makes you reset your car. Here are some pictures I took. It varies how it reacts based on the vehicle, but no matter what something odd happens here.

    I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but the T75 seems like it redlines at just under 2500 RPM. I'm no expert on trucks like that, but I'm pretty sure they're capable of much more than 2500 RPM.

    I know it's an experimental version, and there'll be many missing things, but thanks everyone that responded and clarified that the plants just haven't been textured yet, and it wasn't a file missed in the download etc. (or whatever could've gone wrong)

    Otherwise, East Coast is completely beautiful... it looks a lot the west coast here in BC, which I really like. :) I've already taken 100+ screenshots just of East Coast... I really like the Sunburst so far, and driving with a CVT is interesting for me because I never have before in real life. Also I really like the new controller support, I can finally use my F310, (I didn't bother to get the inputmap for it from my other computer since I didn't mind too much.) I love this experimental version! :)

    Also, I have that floating armrest bug in the bruckell moonhawk someone else mentioned previously.

    EDIT: And the T75's redline at 2500RPM is actually fairly high for a truck like that, I'm pretty sure. I know it's completely normal though.

    No idea if it is a bug but some of DrowsySam's vehicle's are invisible.

    I finally got it to work, and I love it. My only issue whatsoever with it is that theres no hamster wheel like we saw in the dev blog (that looked like random fun to me) but other than that, its great

    All the vehicles that doesn't include the original .dae file will result invisible with the experimental branch.

    Not a bug, but as long as it's still a WIP... Can the backgrounds of the menu and loading screens be matched with our graphics settings? They cause my computer to lag sometimes because they're set too high.

    Shouldn't cause any lag at all, they are static screenshots not realtime rendering.
