Released 2019 Toyota 4Runner (Update 27/12 - Hotfix)

Well...faster than I expected.

 

Definitely happy to see it spreading already I'm a bit worried since the mod is still in a very early public beta phase and the room for improvement is big, but happy to see people are enjoying it anyway!

 

I would like to recommend adding manual transmission options even though it didn't come with the option officially

I'm pretty picky with my trash mods.. And this really isn't one of them. It's got it's issues but it even copies some of the bad things the real car most likely has. Like if you remove the limiters and let the front suspension droop the geometry turns to trash.

Edit: Also based on that crash test the fact the roof bends and the doors opens is a big fail. But i don't play beamng for the crashing. Not sure if the dev wants to try to fix that or not.

It's such a nice looking rig.. Got me tempted to make a diesel engine for it now.. lol

 

Yes a diesel would be awesome, even though its trd version, diesel would be fun

• Front sport and race sway bar values adjusted for more stability (thanks to @dumpling )
• Configuration files revised (thanks to @dumpling )
• Added new configuration with heavy duty suspension (thanks to @dumpling )
• Engine sounds and performance parts improvements (thanks to @Braskus)
• Added 3.3L V6 Diesel Engine (F33A-FTV) (thanks to @Braskus)
• Fixed steering column 'melting' after hard crashes
• Fixed engine shaking (and also made the engine heavier)
• Made the firewall and trunk floor nodeweights heavier (and keeping the car weight accurate)

Ok, it has become clear I cannot write shiftlogic without my brain melting Fixed!

Are we going to have real crawl control in this vehicle? The drive mode seems to be nothing special

That diesel engine was added very quickly. I only spent about 10 minutes on it. But Jorge works fast. It'll get better later.

updated transmission 4 speed diesel was very very slippery and there was no torque converter fix that back
