over the years ive used quite a few pretty under powered machines, some of which ive tried to play beam on.
i remember running the game on a gtx9800 a few years ago at pretty crappy framerates, ive also used some twin core integrated graphics laptops with chips like the i5-4210m and the i5-6200u at pretty OK framerates.
when the alpha first game out in 2013 i was using an Athlon 64 x2 (probably a 3800+) with 4GB of DDR2 and a radeon 6670 1GB. i remember back then getting pretty good frames on gridmap but everywhere else would be sluggish.
these probably aren't anywhere near the slowest machines anyone has ran Beam on so id like to hear what kind of crazy hardware you've tried!
    thanks!

Specs of my old laptop that I actually used as my main machine:
    i3 3217U
    8GB DDR3 1333MHz
    Intel HD Graphics 4000

Using a 10th gen i5 and a GTX 1660 Super never felt so good

got rid of it now I have a RTX 2060 mobile, i5 10300h 8gb ram (ddr4) and an ssd

    Define "run"

If run means "can open" then a Celeron 900 laptop with a GMA 4500M

If run means "can drive around a bit" then a Core 2 Duo T9550, 4GB of RAM, and a 9600M GT

My 2012 Macbook Pro which was my main computer. Had 4GB of RAM, integrated graphics, Intel Core i5-3210M, running bootcamp Windows 10. Took like maybe 15 minutes to load into ETK Experience Center (the only map it could load). On a lucky day, I could get 25fps, however most of the time it stayed at around 15fps.

gateway will exist as long as Acer doesn't suddenly dematerialize (or decide not to keep gateway going)
