Update Speculation thread

I wonder if 0.25 will break BeamMP...Or if the devs got in touch with the guys so if the new update does break it, MP wouldn't be down for long?

 

I bet the update comes Tomorrow And I hope theres gonna be a covet truck!!!!!!

im gona try and copy beamng current version and renaming it and if going mp, renaming them the other way so beammp will launch the older version. hopefully i remmember to update this somewhere, but beammp is late on the versions already but still supported on the latest, just not recomended so i would imagine the update breaking it.

 

If they have the content creator branch, they are already working on it.

 

Does anyone know if they are working on motion blur? I know there are some limtations in the engine or something, but i think the game really needs it...

Better postfx in general is really needed, it's the most needed graphical update after the shadows imo.

Yeah i agree, like tarkov does it great. Just being able to tune it easily without needing shit like reshade would be 10/10

Why are people betting on whether or not the update is coming out over the weekend, we already have confirmation that it won't be until the middle of next week lol

Edit;

Even if it wasn't confirmed, why would the devs want to update a game over the weekend? Then they'd have to spend their time off working around the clock to push hotfixes and tend to upset form members.

 

I think all y'all's just need to calm the hell down.

The surprise is that there is no update at all. The new car is photoshopped and the devs drank something everytime someone said "the update is coming today"
