usually if someone's playing on a keyboard they can't buy a controller personally for me it's easier to control everything on keyboard but for racing i have a wireless xbox adapter
Personally, when I play with keyboard it's mainly just cruising around or doing police chaces and the like while listening to a podcast or watching something on the side. When I wanna do competitve stuff like hotlapping, Pikes Peak or other time trials I use my wheel I've never really vibed with controller for driving no matter the game for some reason
I feel like that one would be pretty boring, plus I doubt they're gonna release a primarily off-road-focused map directly after releasing a modern supercar. We'll see.
that was just random speculation because i thought the sahara desert was gonna be the next map "inb4" means in before, which basically means you predict something happening "inb4 covet remaster" would mean "i think the covet remaster is coming next update" sorry for confusion?
Releasing a map like this could also coincide with racing off road versions of cars like the T-Series. Racing semis are a thing in such maps but, again, I feel like the T-Series not being the most appropriate truck for the job. European trucks like the Unimog are favored more in such environments.
I have controller, steering wheel and keyboard. I feel driving on keyboard is faster than connecting other devices and i'm at that point where i can drive on keyboard like on controller (for me drifting on controller in BeamNG is awful but on keyboard i can handle every turn.
Tbh, I'm only driving on keyboard because I'm stuck with it for the time being. I'm really looking forward to making a full simrig setup and get a true feel of the FFB. The keyboard won't go away ofc but only for the functions outside of pure driving (suspension hydraulics control, doors etc).
