Is there something going on with FFB and the Oversteer reduction assistant? Even with ORA disabled, the steering FFB is completely dead while oversteering.
Update on testing performance with AI. It looks like pooling option causing problems for me. It used to work smoothly (I've been driving Garage to Garage scenario in 0.24 a lot) but now even waiting a minute to "load everything" there are still big hiccups. I'm positively surprised that now I can spawn AI cars with Ultra light options. So yeah, game is now running better but there are few issues. However dynamic reflections are now even more broken. In 0.24 most chrome elements were grey, now they looks like black plastic. Dynamic reflections: ON OFF And yes, I cleared cache and running in SM.
I do appreciate the 0.25 update dropping by today as the last major update (i.e. 0.24) was near the end of last year. The anticipated Civetta Scintilla is a masterpiece of itself, having an overall unique design like no other real-world vehicle similar to the Hirochi SBR4. The Garage level being brought back (and revised) is also a nice touch, as well as a few minor details (like the steering wheel swaying a bit after turning while the vehicle is moving) making the game feel more realistic than ever. That being said, there are a few minor things I'd like to point out still: The production years for the Cherrier Vivace/Tograc still says 2020 - 2020. For version 0.19, that'd be perfectly fine as that major update was released in 2020, but we're now in version 0.25 2 years later. It should expand to 2022 like how the Scintilla is set (although both should be updated to extend by another year for every future major update released on that year up to a certain point), given that most production vehicles of a particular generation have a life span of a few years. Alternatively, it's possible that the Vivace and Tograc did not sell well within the BeamNG lore and were discontinued after only one model year. Some answers to clarify that would be appreciated nonetheless. And do I need to mention how that the default paint color preview in the vehicle selection menu is still broken? It still shows chrome as the "default" paint color as seen above with the Scintilla. While this doesn't really affect default paint colors being loaded in for each and every configuration, this was a minor visual issue that has been present since 0.23. I've said it for the second time in the 0.24 discussion thread, and I'm bringing this up here once again so that a staff member can finally see and (hopefully) acknowledge it. Aside from that, I am enjoying the latest content update like many other people are. While a bit disappointed that the Covet remaster isn't included with 0.25 (at least for now), I am hopeful that it'll be out soon
fair enough, would of been nice for a civetta v8 option though. loving the car and update either way!
The Scintilla's screen seems to get extremely laggy when the game is paused for some time (~10+ sec) then unpaused. This might be the case for other screens, haven't checked others. I'm running a new userfolder with no mods active.
i don't know this might just be me but with the camera when i let go of the mouse it does not re centre the camera
yeah the scintilla definetely has quite a lot of understeer, i cant tell if it's intentionally this way or if it needs some retuning everything else on it is absolutely top notch though
The new off road civetta's rear bash guard behaves incorrectly. In the suspension test on grid map, if you hit the curb at high speed, it clips through the bottom bash guard, snags the rear guard, and tears it off. I have no idea how you'd fix this, but it's not particularly realistic.
I haven't seen it in the patch notes, but I like the new text font. It really spices up the menu design, unlike the previous, uncharacteristic Arial (I think).
really really love the new TC implementation! in copit-view while driving if i look around (using xbox controller) it snaps automatically back to neutral position if i let go the thumbstick. however, if the car stands still, is does not snap back. Is this intentional behaviour? Is it possible the change the FOV of the chase cam?
