49Cadillac NO LONGER WORKS Edit: 49Cadillac LIVES!

The most long lasting mod created for Beam no longer works as of the current release (0.25) The mod was created as the first car mod for beam by Mythbuster back in 2013 and was the longest lasting mod surviving 9 years of beamng updates. EDIT: The update only made the file config not work you need to reformat the file with a vehicles directory 49Cadillac.zip>vehicles>49Cadillac>(files)

Well, I'll still be sad to see it go. I've long thought that when the time comes for BeamNG to add its final official vehicle before the full 1.0 release, it ought to be something similar to the '49 Cadillac as a tribute to the modding community.

i didnt even add pbr
i just changed the file path from 49Cadillac.zip > 49Cadillac to 49Cadillac.zip > vehicles > 49Cadillac

you are right about it needing a remaster tho

no sadly.
someone would need to really remaster it.
the one i have in those pictures is just to get it spawn.

You can zip it yourself, no need to reupload another zip

Yeah, can confirm this still works. The first thing I do when an update drops since like 0.17 is load up the old cadillac. I was confused when this thread popped up lol but good to know it was just a bad zip file. 49 Cadillac forever!

ok good but the file wasnt bad until the recent update so i guess they changed something that the original format couldnt work with
