I notice a slight kick forward when downshifting in the scintilla as if letting the clutch out with the engine at higher rpm than for your speed. I'm not sure if this happens in an actual supercar or not because I've never driven one but just posting it here just in case.
also another thing i notice is that if i use the two step in auto mode it just doesnt shift, actually this happens for all dcts for me. i have the rpm set to 4k on the drag strip and then i just hit limiter and the only way to make it shift after that is by going into manual mode, shifting, then leaving
having a new issue, ive changed literally nothing, and now using any of your transmissions freezes the car, and i dont see a couple of them in the parts selector. i have a massive wall of red text in the console
That's a bit strange, I never changed the vehicleController.lua. Will investigate when I have free time. Does it happen on all vehicles, or just the Scintilla?
So you are using this vesion, and encounter a minor problem Then you did literally nothing, and have a major game-braking problem? --- Post updated --- Not only DCT but also AT?
yep, ive tried verifying integrity of the game and clearing cache, if you cant find a solution it might be some sort of mod conflict that didnt pop up until now
So I found an interesting bug; If you have your transmission installed into the new Scintilla car, put it into first, give it a tap of gas and let off, RPMs go down to 500ish and it will not accelerate or anything. Stepping on the brake allows RPMs to go back up and if you give it gas while braking it works. EDIT: I've added a video
I found out that when doing a launch (from idle, without launch control) on the Scintilla, the clutch slips at about 2500RPM as per values shown on the jbeam file: "clutchLaunchStartRPM": 2000, "clutchLaunchTargetRPM": 3000, I changed the "clutchLaunchTargetRPM" value to 6000RPM and now the launches are perfect on 2nd gear, without any wheelspin and holding the revs between 4500-6000rpm. 3.80s without LC and 3.6s with LC, and before were 4.10s without LC and 3.93s with LC (LC: Launch Control) The thing is that launch control is useless because doesn't matter how high you set it up, as soon as the clutch grabs the ESC starts working and the revs drop to 3000 again, but changing the clutchLaunchTargetRPM makes the revs hold about 4500rpm when using a 5000RPM launch control, so launches become faster. The downside? Clutch slips a lot on the first 2 gears when driving slowly. Would be interesting to see a change on the code (if possible) that enables a new mode on the automatic gearbox just for launches, a throttle depending clutch or even a separate clutchLaunch line just for when activating two-step Tried to explain it as good as possible because English isn't my main language, so sorry if there are mistakes
This also happens in stock DCTs, and the mod does not modify this very logic. And I'll see what I can do, in the next next update maybe. Does it slip in D(in second gear) or S2? If so then it's a bug. If only in S1 M1 and M2 then it's intended --- Post updated ---

Sorry I forgot to watch the video. I tested all variant of Scintilla including Race and Drag and cannot find any problem. Apparently This problem is due to your "Stage 3 Race Long Block" mod that makes your engine have too much high RPM torque and two little low RPM torque, to the point that the idle creep is more than enough to bog the engine down.
Ooooh okay good to know! That is from the "sheep racing" mod Thank you for the response and letting me know it is that long block causing it!
