Tried the config or just built per part? --- Post updated --- Also i highly suggest save the config with agentY global values mod with 2x lift coefficient and 1x drag, it's the most realistic preset i could achieve. This info is for everyone
I've done both, the config is pretty good yea but i haven't installed the Agent Y's global values mod yet
Hey, just adding this at the suggestion post from my review. Thanks for the mod btw, it's sick! Like I said before, adding a yellow tinted headlights will be dope, and maybe adding a rain lights will be cool too. Another thing that might be cool, but maybe a bit too complicated to execute, is adding different types of steering wheel rim, like a rounded one, a squared bottom, or F1 styled like the AMG ONE.
Also i highly suggest save the config with agentY l I sent a fix, gotta wait for moderators to approve --- Post updated --- wait for fix to be approved --- Post updated --- i'd gladly expand the list just, there's already a bunch of other default custom wheels, the list is already big, im afraid people would likely be nervous of having such a big list, but will see, it's not that hard to do tho
Exchy are you sure the swan neck wing has the same amount of downforce as the GTRX wing as when I use the swan neck the car spins out more than when I use the regular GTRX wing (same config)
The wing texture is low compared to the car's textures. I think the wing texture should be enhanced to match the car.
there's no collision on the GT3 rear wing and the added parts don't have correct beams the canards the rear wing and diffuser
I really like what this mod adds, but I feel that the GT3 regulated block is underpowered compared to real life GT3 supercars. The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 makes about 520 horsepower while the Scintilla makes 460 horsepower. Plus, the updated Huracan GT3 Evo makes 580 HP. I chose to compare it to the Huracan since both cars are very similar. The Scintilla should make about a 100 more horsepower, unless there's some odd rule for GT3 cars that I don't know about.
AFAIK Exchy made the block have that amount of power is because the Scintilla makes more top speed with less power compared to these current GT3 cars, so that's why, maybe it's the current BeamNG aerodynamics and lack of underbody downforce tht makes this happen, and maybe it's why we haven't seen a GT3 car being made by devs yet
I really love the mod but I wanna give a bit of constructive criticism and say that the better way is to eventually make the aero tunable. my scintilla has 1400 kg (real gt3 weight with driver and full tank), and with only 500 horsepower it has qualifying top speed (at the end of nordschleife's main straight it hits 291 km/h when it should max out at around 272 km/h in the case of huracan gt3 evo)... but maybe it's not lack downforce to balance out the top speed, maybe it's the fact that beamng has no brake duct necessity for the brakes? i think that would steal a lot of top speed and make it more realistic. but even then, fine-tuning the aero would be awesome even if it's only a strict change available. I think there's room for improvement and honestly i just wanna say beamng is finally becoming what i always wanted it to be and you with this mod is helping this immensely... thank you!
Will change it's mostly a placeholder texture until i find anything better, or just flat color which i don't really want to. IN PLANS --- Post updated --- In progress, give some time, i think will finish till the end of the week. Can't say so about rear diffuser, no idea how to create a jbeam from scratch --- Post updated --- I have another problem first gear goes at static rpm when launched from stationary, yet to understand why --- Post updated --- scintilla is way more powerful at the HP it produce, i tried it at 600 then 500 then even less, it gone too easy to 300kmh which gt3 barely achieve. This is what i came up with after driving ACC. Acceleration numbers somewhat realistic as of now, with sub 500 hp. I gotta do something with downforce to block car to accelerate after 250-260 --- Post updated --- Exactly it goes way too fast for HP it has, im comparing the acceleration with Assetto Corsa cars and tuning accordingly, not perfect but close --- Post updated --- Im all open for ideas, just can't satisfy everyone with the knowledge i have with jbeam. I will continue to expand the mod but at some point i will stall like the engine xd. Thanks everyone, also so mechanical help is appreciated
After 5 hours into learning of aerodynamics i achieved average 800 kg downforce at 241km/h, at least on numbers, gotta test that on track. Wild guess - i'd have to increase engine power xd P.S. Jeez, feels great and connected, definitely improvement
After hard testing by my ACC driver friend Spa frncshmps 2:23 with some mistakes Nurnbrg is 2:02 maxed, but have no idea why, maybe map scale is off. Will release an updated version soon. I need some good drivers driving exactly featured preset of the car with some prof. criticism.
Love your progress man! This is my favorite mod and seing you so determined to improve it even more is Amazing!
Yeah, after next update it's a different car, in the given PRESET or Configuration. Just installing the parts, won't give the same result. Final test and will send to moderators
As I said from the review section, you did an astonishing job! Can't wait to see what you got under the sleeve. For the upcoming updates, Maybe an overhaul of scintilla's race interior, like gutted/lighter interior, fire extinguisher, vent tubes, better interior rear view mirror, and maybe a FIA regulated seat
I don't know what exactly is regulated in FIA about seat --- Post updated --- Sneaky-peeky --- Post updated --- Also i need ideas, what brand to put on tyres, like hankook or something
