That private mod pack that mostly me and my friend Felipe are making (he makes the skins), it's not public so the name is irrelevant, we called it CBP skin pack back when it was still a skin pack, now it's much more
So the 0.26 update did some changes to core physics apparently that helped me greatly improve the mod's stability, allowing for quite extreme weight reduction on some cars... This works the best on the newly added simplified traffic cars, they can be scaled to 1% of their original weight. Normal cars can go down to 10% before the tires explode, that's still a lot better than before. Despite this extremely low weight there are no stress issues at all, but there are other interesting side effects, for example the parking brake doesn't work and the normal brakes speed up the car instead lol. Sadly despite all of this resizing cars is still extremely unstable and the wheels will explode regardless. But it's still really cool to have ultra light cars now.
The changes in the update were made in a way to not break any mods (except they broke the Vertex as it used a really cheaty variable system), but introduced some standarization to the code which made more values scaleable. So I made use of that and now the mod scales everything in a more stable way.
Can you add spicy sauce to the fuel tank swap please ? I know it sound weird but that's something that came in my head a while ago
Hi!! First, i LOVE this mod. it's my go to... I realize that it has SO MUCH potential and it can be very hard to figure out at first. I created a bunch of configurations for the D Series with the true electric motor mod. Would you be interested in adding true electric motor cars in your configurations for everyone to explore?
I'm sorry about bumping this thread but is there any way i can make my covet work after resizing it? upon making the car smaller the steering wheels turn inwards and i can't drive any help would be appreciated
The only solution is to not resize it too much or use a different car, I haven't actually tested how the Covet reacts to it after the remaster, but some cars take it better than others
Absolutely love this mod. Any chance you will update the engine swaps to use the new sound? (Thinking primarily of the Bastion, which has a new V8 sound)
