Well, I open the template in Paint.NET I go to layers, and add one above the base I then make the skins on top of the base, and save it as a .DDs file named "pickup_skin_" and the name

Basically, but with a few differences. If you really need a base, I'd suggest downloading and opening the Hailee Deegan truck that Bolt2407_Beamfan helped me fix.
