FYI, codemasters has taken down mods using their models in the past. Might want to grab it while you can since this is nicely done.
This looks amazing. Can you try to get the version with the crazy looking aero bodykit to go along side this one? You know, this one: If you could do that, you might just be one of my new favorite modders.
Which were those? All I can think of would be the subie and evo but both of those are still up. Assetto corsa did file takedowns though.
I love this mod! But, it has a few issues. It pulls to either side while driving straight, the rear end and door glitch out slightly when subject to any impact/deformation, the first gear is very stubborn, and it is rather fragile. Ass in when landing a small jump you will be lucky to still have your front fascia in the right place, any sort of wheel alignment, a suspension that isn't totally busted, and maybe the ability to steer correctly. Other than those issues, I love this mod a lot. The crashes are spectacular, pieces fly everywhere (especially the spare tire in the back, that's a real nice touch) and it rolls several times. Great job, I love hitting jumps sideways with this car.
Not bad but needs work. First off there is no such thing as an "Audi Sport quattro B2" this model is an Audi Sport Quattro S1... The main problem at the moment is the suspension, it rocks and bounces around like a 70's Cadillac. Braking from 10mph results in the front of the car touching the ground. Steering wobles like crazy, shaking parts loose when you turn and accelerate. :| The C pillar has one node on the inside of the pillar but lacks one on the out side meaning it deforms and warps really badly when hit. Roof crumples way too easily as if there was no roll cage. You somehow broke the smoothing on the fascia. Also the real car has a 6 speed manual not a 5 speed. Works ok otherwise

Nice rally car, only thing that comes up in my mind right now after testing it is the poor rollcage as someone already said, and the handling in the first gears is too slow or how you wanna say it.
Yup. Saying he thought of "all the small details" when he can't even get the name right.... I can tell from the video that the whole rear suspension isn't anything like the real car either... Such a dick-move to make this, considering someone was already making a legit Ur-Quattro all by himself, namely Zappymouse, probably making him lose even more motivation for it. Considering I'm planning to team up with him for his sportscar, I'mma try and get him to finish the Quattro too, cause I reckon it can be made WAY better than this.
I think I'll flatly state that this mod is not up to standard, its awful quality. For the reasons stated above. The quattro is my favourite car and I'd rather see it done justice.
I don't think its quite as bad as the previous posters have made out... Sure. Its not 100% upto some other modders standards, but it is considerably better than just slapping the quattro on a random JBeam unaltered. It could be alot better and at the moment it isnt quite good enough to be a go-to vehicle when I have some better made mods on my machine but I actually kinda like it.
Oh right, I simply increased the torque by 50 and now it accelerates better but I agree with you, at the start there isn't a lot of power but I don't mind that much anyways.
Oh, just realised that in automatic gearbox the acceleration works fine, it's only in manual (automatic cluth) it's slow/unstable
I've had several people say it's awful. If anything the covet default suspension would have been better than what it is now. The only thing that isn't awful about this mod is the mesh, it's well made and probably one of the best he could have used. But someone else made it so that doesn't say anything at all, especially considering he didn't even know the name of the car. How could he ever get specs for the engine and suspension etc without even basic knowledge of the car. Which is why it has 5 gears instead of 6, is lacking around 150bhp and the torque is also pretty messed up and I'm assuming so are the gear ratios.
