Released B25 Mitchell 7.2

i Have an issue where then the bombs explode there is multiple invisible nodes stuck to the bottom of the planes body where they make the body unable to collide with the ground

 

Everyone has this issue but nobody knows whats causing it

 

Hallo everyone,

I know it has been a while since my last update.
No updates on the plane happened even though I made some progress. In reality my own standards are very high and because of that the plane still needs 100 of hours before I could release anything.
Now to the current status of my life, I joined the German Airforce last year and will be for the next 13 years. As of this development my priorities changed a lot and modding for a game is sadly not one of them.
I hope from the bottom of my heart that I will still be part of the community and of this mod itself.
I am so impressed at over 1000.000 downloads and because of this I will try my best to keep the mod working

Hi it seems to me the addon. Is broke. The sounds are mute and all controls dont react / cant be bound in the key bindings

 

The key binding issue may be caused by a mod and the mod hasn't been updated for some time so things are bound to break.

the audio is the only thing that needs fixed, everything works fine. u just need to get audio for the engines and such to work with recent update ;^;..please ;-;

 

made the gear quieter when its retracted, its not fully silent but its a lot quieter.
(this is a replacement file)

 

Having issues with turning the plane on

 

This mod is amazing! But FYI, the "M" button is to open the map senarios now, so you might want to change that to like the quote button.

 

when i click the keys nothing happens not even the flaps or throttle so i physically cant move the plane without nodes lmao

the raf texture shows up as really pale. is there a fix?

 

I think if some of the gauges in the plane would it would make the flying experience way better.

 

Don’t expect an update soon, but if I have time to update the plane, one of the big changes will be the cockpit. Currently the mesh of the wings with landing gear is modeled and jbeamed. The cockpit and nose gear still needs a remodel.

I know, like I said, don’t expect anything fast. Currently learning for exams and in a week I will be gone for the holidays. Next time I can think about working and fixing anything will be next year around mid January. Don’t have any means to do it earlier

 

I’ve been wondering how do I make the wheels spin when I attach them to my prototypes? I need to know how I can make them roll while the planes are on the ground without them rolling out of order or without the planes collapsing on the ground

 

Small update,
I fixed the self collision of the main gear and currently switching all materials to 1.5. Not redoing the textures so, dont expect high fidelity. The big remaster is still a long way away.
The big problem right now is with the brakes, there is a lua problem that is not that easy to find as it seems like it was broken during one of the updates. The Me 262 is also efected by this, I am intouch with the devs and will give you updates. I cant just change back to regular brake code as it would reduce the mobility of the B25 on the ground to a point that just doesnt make sense.

Before I will update I will bring back the functunality of the bombs and a bit a flight model tweaking.
