The reason why using AWD+GTRX splitter & wing can get you with big stability issue is that the huge downforce decreases(increase negative) the camber by at least two degrees, and In the Scientilla, a change to chamber leads to a significant toe change, thus at high speeds the toe angles are distorted significantly, causing instability
I tried Nord for the first time on beamng today, and decided to take a crack at this challenge.. in hindsight I could be a lot faster but at least I completed it, and it was decently fast. i might also try again soon with a very different car =) Etk k-series trackday and a random xbox controller for reference
6:17.768 in a new DSC Scarab config I'm working on, lots of geometry and aero changes which has helped drastically. Not sure why audio didn't record Will be on the repo soon, if you want to try now it's in my Discord in signature
My attempt on the Nordschleife in the stock 200BX 'Track' No finish screen as I have recorded this as a replay, so you have to take my word for it being a 07:40:554
Yo its the green hell after all. Whats good is that you didnt crash and completed a lap in a reasonable time. If you like the track and continue further then you will get faster sooner or later. Its a long track that takes some time to learn. --- Post updated --- I need to further look into this, thanks for the insights, i actually didnt notice it before
Does anyone know why it adds a few seconds after you complete the run? I've been working on a time but whenever I finish it adds around 6 seconds to my time. Edit: Figured it out, it still counts the time during the rolling start I think which kind of defeats the purpose lol
I had a little FWD duel and results were again slightly unexpected for me. Soliad Wendover Sport SE 4400 V8 (Facelift) Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune Time: 9:05.713 Ibishu Pessima 2.7 LX V6 Sport GTz Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune Time: 9:02.196 Before lapping the cars I was once again certain that the power of the Wendover will be enough to leave the Pessima in the dust, but that did not happen. I also did 2 full laps with both of them and the Wendovers lap time improved by ~6.2 sec. while the Pessimas lap improved by ~5.5 sec. (plus a bunch of failed attempts ofcourse) In general for a noob(ish) driver with a controller an easier car seems to be the faster car. And for a bit of weird fun I decided to lap the T-80UD tank; T-80UD Object 478B Mod - Stock Config - Default tune Time: 24:55.938 I used the updated version that can be found here: T 80UD tank (shoots and working turret)
The suspension moving around on the wendover is so satisfying lol, at some point i even thought if it was sport model at all
Just did this with a controller, not the best time possible, but this CRX Covet is very nimble and fun.
That pretty cool man i didn't know they made the CRX in beamng --- Post updated --- Here you have a monster created by me Spec : V8 Civetta sport turbo FR17 wheels ( with not the same tyre because it won't fit) Custom 6 speed transmission whole rest is stock Problem: Make a stopie every time you brake too hard Rollover if cornering too hard at high speed Fading brakes Sometime the engine can stop when you are on two wheel because there a automatic cutting injection system when rollover (it happens all the time) And the list can go very far But still i love this setup because you never see a monster like that Succesefully putting a 8:33.798 (first try with many errors)
dude i also use mouse and keyboard + i got 5:16:532 without rolling start but cannot post it here cuz i got modded tires but im posting it on yt anyways
The main problem is the tyres if you put better tyre it become a bloody misile. But i still have tyre wobling problem on my f2
