Could you test this scenario on the safe mode? Copy the mod zip to mods folder that is in the game files instead of the appdata one? Then test it just with this mod? Also in normal playing mode can you take a screenshot of the area from height by opening world editor then from the view section visualization then select the navgraph: drivability. Dont know if I need a tutorial or something is actually wrong but I can't seem to find the scenarios on the map. Neither on official nor mod maps. Edit: Nvm found them under scenarios.

So, two things, the lack of awareness from the AI when you are going side by side is almost unbearable. Second thing is, the penalty system, that is ridiculous. 99% of the time I get pushed off the track because of the AI not being able to detect me there and I get that "penalty". The scenarios themselves are quite nice, the AI difficulty is average but way better than what I've seen in Beamng, the best for sure. But in my opinion, you should either remove this penalty system or remake it because it doesn't make sense at all.
Thanks for your thoughts. First, I can't do anything about the side by side AI awareness, AI awareness is a game feature and it is what it is until the devs do something about it. Second, the penalty system is gonna stay but how it behaves might change (we are discussing it with the gamergull). Also: I started working on the Nurburgring GP map thanks to Kirbyguy's help with the AI road. While I was working on it, I made a comparison video of a normal AI versus the Scenario AI about how it performs.
Yeah, it needs a lot of work because even if you go off and loose time against the AI you still get a penalty lol. Also I noticed that the AI is faster on the straights . About the awareness, I understand you, but yeah, a bit frustrating. Nice work on the nurburgring and I cannot wait for the Nordschleife! edit: btw on the automation scenario, there is a part of the track near the start/finish line straight that gives you a penalty
I didn't tried the vehicles other than the vivace and the scintilla, so I don't know. If you can use the vehicle with the random ai behavior without bugs there is a chance. But probably the ai will not use like that vehicle with a full potential.
Nordschleife WIP finally reached the finish line safely after 2 laps. Since the track is long, I thought the race scenario could be 2 laps instead of 3 laps. Because other scenarios take 6-8 minutes with 3 laps.
The off-track penalty is annoying, unnecessarily strict and makes this completely not fun to play. It doesn't just slow you down, it completely shuts off the engine and stalls the car in gear which causes a complete loss of control. You are racing AI. There is no need to be sportsmanlike and the penalty is ridiculous. I realize I can just turn it off in the json, but surely if the need to enforce track limits is important you could simply invalidate the lap time instead.
Yes, there have been a lot of complaints about this feature, but the penalty system will remain. Only the off-throttle effect will be cancelled, while the player disqualification will continue if the player is left off the track too much.

I have an issue with the Nordschleife and Nurburgring scenario where the cars are not moving, and for some reason the ai paths on the map don't work for me in freeroam either
I tested the latest map mod from the link, then applied the fix and everything working for me, probably you didn't pasted the fix correctly, because if you don't apply the fix the ai vehicles will not move in nurburgring scenario.
