I managed to get a sort of wave period playing with the ocean properties, but I would not be able to replicate it.

Ah, I see. is there any way you can see to make it work in Utah in the future, maybe like a special "add ocean object" button for the UI. unsure if that's easily achievable or possible as I know not much of coding and such. still an awesome mod tho!
Alot of maps seem to not have an ocean object although the ocean is right there. Take the big city map as an example doesnt work. I think Italy is the same
Could you try to add a simplified tide control? Something like a time of day setting for the high tide level/flood height, then make the ocean rise there and fall back in 12 (ingame) hour intervals. https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/education/tutorial_tides/tides05_lunarday.html
italy works for it, and fi your talking about west coast it also works there. not sure what issues your having but both of those maps worked for me
Apologies they do indeed work for them maps, as for modded maps for example garfield heights it doesn't yet that has an ocean so hopefully an update/fix for this will be added in the future.
I'm not exactly sure but if the map has an ocean, disable the flood mod and open the level editor. Find the Ocean and make sure it's called "Ocean", feel free to save the level and re-enable the mod. You can also do the same if you want to add an ocean to a map which doesn't have one. I would like to automate this but there's no way to get a default height

i opened the editor but can't seem to find ocean i can see however "water plane" and "water block" how can i add ocean it doesn't seem to be in the level editor.
i added them both went back into the game opened the ui but it does nothing Tried it on garfield heights map.
this is such a cool mod. currently in the process of making a youtube video with a friend that uses it. sorry to be a pain but would it be possible to bind a key just to activate and deactivate the flood, as it makes it a lot easier to sync between two people on beammp if we dont have to click with a mouse? thanks, and no worries if not :3
