Large turbocharged engine anyone? slow torque curve anyone? Doesn't it take time to build up torque/power in large turbocharged engines and requires High RPM.
Slayersen pls... Audi S1 Sport Quattro does 0-100km/h/60mph in something like 2.6 seconds on tarmac... The Lancia Delta S4 Group B cars do it in 2.3 seconds on gravel... On gravel. ON FRIGGIN GRAVEL That's simply insanity. Lambo's don't do that 30 years later on tarmac... Imho, the Group B Quattros can only be described as pure rockets.... Here you can see an S1 launch from a standstill on gravel...
You said not to do this in the Experimental Game...well I tried it in the experimental game and well it worked......
I'm always hesitant with downloading mods from new modders... but this is just awesome. Such a well made car. Thanks for all your work!
This car's handling is amazing. Perfect for drifting and speed. I really love the detail. The best car I've seen on the forums by FAR!
I did that sound mod...good god that thing is loud...and it reminds me of the Audi Quattro S1...it sends a shiver down my spine when I rev the engine
So I assume you replied that to the first post, which is quite.....random and makes no sense. On topic: This looks good.
yikes take it easy. You gotta give the guy praise for trying and releasing something for someone to use. It might not be great or even good but some people in this thread seem to be very happy with it. At least using the mod is optional and if you don't like it you can delete it Seems like a lot of mods released are suffering from quality issues, I suspect its due to the mod authors lack of knowledge and understanding especially in the jbeam area. You know I had the HARDEST of times, for whatever reason. Really didn't benefit from much help here nor do I feel like the documentation available is actually any good plus by now there should be some tools to help speed up the process of the work.. I mean.. wouldn't that just be the smart thing to do for everyone's sake ? I tried the car out, its rough in some ways but hey.. I didn't pay anything for it so whatever. My E30 M3 is some of the same issues I hope to fix but I'm not a ROR modder from back in the day and I'm not a kid without a job who has enough time to figure it out so I might just leave it as is.
What if I'm a kid with a job and a wife and can still figure it out? Does that mean you'll pay for my mods?
No. It's not a lack of knowledge. If it was, he'd ask someone to help him... It's a lack of care. A lack of care for the real thing. Also, No, I have to give anyone praise for disrespecting a car that's as legendary as this. It's a plain insult to how absolutely INSANE the real car is. And yeah, I'm not a kid without a job either. I'm 22 and I work full-time, 9 to 5, monday to friday, but hey, good job on insulting any and every content creator out there, including the ones from RoR back in the day, because apparantly they must've been kids without jobs too if they learned it back then. The fact that you don't understand it doesn't say anything about difficulty. I don't understand how people can possibly play music, doesn't say anything about how difficult that is... It just means I don't have a feel for it. Same here. But then there's also people who just don't care about the stuff they're releasing, about the cars they're "replicating", no passion. And um, as far as I can see, 99% of the people who are thoroughly enjoying this are the people who only BeamNG for seeing an expensive car crumple like tin foil, not even realistically, just as long as they can see a car crumple they enjoy it... I enjoy the game for the realistic driving, the realistic chassis flex, and the realistic crashing. And you know what, this car does none of those well at all :/
Alot of these people are just as happy with the Russian mods that got copied from one of the sites and re-released here a while back until they noticed then the are they suddenly become something to be looked down on. These people just want a nice looking car that has wheels and crashes they really don't care are about how realistic it is. You wouldn't believe how pointless releasing any content feels when people come on to this thread and say things like "The best mod I've seen on the forum". Of course that could be a factor, but this is just all down to sheer laziness, could he easily enough fixed the suspension tuning and got it more realistic? sure easy, someone who can edit a jbeam this extensivly can do that but no. He could have also found the specs for the engine very easily and typed in some basic numbers for the engine but again no. He lacks any type of care whatsoever. Stop assuming things, I go to college 4 days a week from 7am until around 5 pm and while that not be quite as time consuming as a full time job it doesn't leave me much free time outside of weekends. But yeah just because I know how to mod a game, that must mean I do nothing else, yeah right.
I found these 3D models but I dont know if you are allowed to take them :/ anyway check these out for ideas! Ford RS200: http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=36678 Also can you check these for some other ideas? Ford Escort Cosworth: http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=43801 Ford Escort MK2 RS1800: http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/download.aspx?3dmodel=36590
Just... why? Why do you post this here? Its not a suggestion thread or something like that. Oh by the way the models are crap.
Wow, what an asshole you where then... I posted a link about he RS200 that one guy mentioned at the first page! And I thought that he was a really good at making the Audi that ha maybe wanted some other ideas on rally cars! Yes I know the models isnt the best but you can see how they are supposed to be! Sorry if I made you angry!
