Update Speculation thread

I don't think they would "mess with us". Maybe they thought it would be cool, or cinematographic.
The only thing that contradicts my hypothesis is that it's not an artistic focused video. Like a montage, or presentation video.
But maybe they were just trying new stuff still.

 

I just think it would be tactically bad to set expectations you can't follow up on...

 

yeah, I do feel like adding fake mb is a step too far when it comes to “touching up”

 

Especially for the amount of effort involved in it to make it look right and just get a quick teaser out for Tuesday. Like Leeloo once said, these teasers are usually made and published on the same day.

 

yeah honestly it looks exactly like the type of shot they'd put in a showcase video, like say for instance this part of the bolide video

 

If that's the case, didn't they say that they were waiting on Vulkan stabilisation to make more pp upgrades, @Brother_Dave ? If so there are probably a lot of other pp goodies (please don't take that out of context)

Yes you are right, it is very unpredictable how the motion blur will turn out, some frames it is off others on, I can't get my head around it.

 

As far as i can recall yes, it was part of the bunch of questions tdev answered.

On a sidenote, this community is honestly like a huge family, its especially apperent when teaser are released and when its getting closer to an update. Sure theres the odd incident with asshats but overall its a damn cozy place.

there is the traffic light that is facing opposite side of the highway and towards to ocean

That traffic light must be turned 90° to face the downward side of this road. That's its only use because the road going left is the on-ramp to the expressway on this part of the WCUSA map.

There's also that sidewalk part next to the fire hydrant in the Nodeoline gas station (in the Jefferson Imports crossroad), in which a convenient ramp existed before the 0.21 Update but, after that Update, there's no chance for any car with a relatively low ground clearance to not break its front bumper while trying to enter the gas station from this point.

 

If the mid-engined Covet doesn't get a transverse V6 option, I'm willing to bet someone will put a turbocharged Pessima V6 in it and we'll finally have dkutch's legendary Covet MRi V6 back
