Bug time: 1. Covet's doors can't open on any incline. 2. Covet Turbo Hood has two Texture cuts near the grille underneath. 3. the Windshield washer/coolant tank's? hose clips through the Turbo Radiator Tunnel. 4. Putting a Covet MR Turbo in reverse and driving at full speed makes it run out of oil. 5. Unsure if strictly a bug but the Tachometer doesn't save.
Custom Spoiler, Spoiler and a small section around the side windows on the new Covet aren't effected by the Old Paint livery. The livery on the Lower Spoiler could also be improved slightly to not look like just lines going through the spoiler
Suggestion: Add an option to keep motion blur effect when paused somehow, that would make for cool screenshots
Tiny, minor, insignificant issue. Beam doesn't know what Windows 11 is Great update though. Physics performance seems much improved for me.
For traffic cars, when it says "reduced physics details" does it mean reduced physics of internal parts simulations (like the engine), or does it mean reduced soft-body crash physics?
On the track upto the radio tower on West Coast USA (Beside Helter Skelter challenge) all the AI traffic is bugged and some fall off the cliff. Also there is a couple of texture glitches on the same track.
I have to say this update is making me all hot and bothered. I'll be spending all night adding this new optimized traffic to my career style open world scenario. Had just added odometer persistence to vehicles too! I assume the new odometer display uses electrics.values.odometer? If so it's likely gonna work right away. I'm assuming this means reduced detail for soft body collision physics as this is the biggest performance drain on the game.
I know yall have seen the devblog. Holy car load this is amazing. Im starting with new car and the traffic and parked vehicles. Looks amazing
When I first started up the game again i had to fix all my resolutions again, but my Ui looks fuzzy. IDK if its because i play on an ultrawide 3440x1440 or what, but this max resolution doesn't make the UI sharp. Also, I've been messing with the motion blur, anyone know what the ideal strength is yet?
That would kind of suck if that's the case because crash physics is the main point of the game. What's the point in having traffic if you can't crash into the cars and experience the full glory of the soft-body crash physics. But maybe they turn the physics back on for the traffic cars when you crash into them?
I think the cars have physics all the time, just the fidelity of the skeleton is slightly reduced. From actually playing the game I can say the traffic cars still crash well and I can't really notice a difference to full-detail cars. Framerate with traffic is also majorly improved
Wont let me load in any maps . They are all missing and it only says mainfiles.json. It is happening it safe mode as well .
