    Pretty cool! I tried this out for roughly an hour, and I can see its potential. I know its not working yet, but having a monetary system to the game is something I've always wanted to see. I like new UI additions, like the menu and the garage mode.

    I see where the career is going, but many game systems are going to have to change in order to make it work a little better, specially in regards to modifying cars. That unwieldy parts selector has to go, as simple as that.

    Whats your Concept idea? Will there be a story? Or is it just going to be: "this is your starter car, upgrade it by doing some contests. Contests are: Race, Drag, Crawl, Delivery ...". Because that doesnt sound like anything new or exciting. It sounds repetitive, hollow and boring - like something that doesnt add something of value to the game. Atleast for me.

    I have as of rn absolutly no idea in my head as of how beamng could have a exciting and appealing career mode.

    Edit: The game is big in terms how what it offers. One can race, drift, tune, offroad, crash, chase, flee and what not. The question i have in my mind is what is beamng's career mode ment to offer to all these various play types. Will there be a sophisticated ai so that racers and drifters have a challenge for example? Or i will it be similiar to what it is rn? A mission system with a monetary reward so that players can build their favorite car? And what do the players then do? Sit or drive around in their car in a otherwise empty world?

    As said, i personally have no idea of a sucessfull career mode that offers something that is exciting for everyone. I as a Racer stick to the multiplayer because the ai is entriely incapable to keep up or to follow rules

    Having an issue where there are invisible vehicles in career mode. I've now hit 2 of them. Sounds work, I hear the crash, see damage on my car, and can hear tires screech on the invisible car. After the accident, I can even hear the invisible car drive off.

    It went away the third time I loaded career mode and I have not experienced it since writing that last message.

    Very cute, I like it so far! tdev said it best when he said it was buggy. It extremely buggy and crashy, but that's okay! Looks great so far, I'll return with more feedback.

    Probably, theyve exprimented with saving and loading damage before, it just didn't save longer then the session.
    If I know 1 thing about the beamng Devs is, they want this perfect since people have been wanting this since like 2015. The pressure is immense.

    One thing that REALLY needs to improve before it's released is the AI... It's so annoying when you have to drive to the other side of the map on the highway, and you are just driving normally and suddenly an AI in front of you brake checks you or turns into you, your car has messed up steering and you can't reset on the spot and none of this is your fault

    yes that! they also need to stay right on the highway. And on small roads not brake for another car on the other side of the road. Traffic jams keep happening there.

    I have played about 3 hours and I'm loving it so far but some rebalancing is needed especially in the drift missions. The counter not starting till I am well into a drift and timing out while I am transitioning into the next drift is really frustrating. The barrel knockdowns are fun but its really annoying getting high centered on barrels every other attempt, Perhaps make them non-collideable/disappear 3 to 5 seconds after contact? Retries should be instant, don't take me to the start menu for the mission unless I press and hold the reset or something similar. Everything is already loaded in by that time anyway so I don't see the need for it and It just adds another step, increases downtime and frustration when trying to do said hard missions. Another QoL change would be the game automatically recording replays of the mission and showing them at the finish screen, only saving the file when the player enters the replay and does so, so you aren't saving unnecessary replays and taking up extra room. Other than that its a ton of fun.

    The reason that the navigation is intentionally not being used, is because it creates quite big framerate drops for many users. We've already made several rounds of optimizations to it, but the app is still way too resource intensive to be used widely. Note that this is not happening to every single player, so you may happen to not be affected, or not be affected much. But others are suffering from increased UI lag and decreased game framerate with it. The app may even need to be scrapped and rewritten from scratch (we haven't had resources to look into it again for the Nth time).

    Has this something todo with the performance of AngularJS? the ui in general feels slow. I heared some rumors about a upcomming switch to another framework

    The UI doesn't feel slow at all anymore since 0.26, at least for me
