Lore aside, lets say that Bruckell decided that they wanted to begin a front wheel drive revolution in the 1980s like Chrysler did after Iaccoca took over. The Legran and Wendover fit right into this proposed business model as they are both front drive cars as we already know. A Bruckell "sports car" of that era would fill a gap that needs some attention.
