Black Squares? (visual bug)

I've noticed some black squares (not pixels) appearing randomly after the latest update. At first it was only with the 200BX but I've seen it appear when driving the Miramar, as well as possibly one more car. They only appear on a few of the cars I've been driving but not any traffic cars or on anything else in the game.

From what I recall I haven't noticed them when playing in freeroam, only in career. They can appear very sporadically but it's tough to replicate, I haven't seen it at all when standing still/orbiting my car or customizing.

I thought this might be a hardware issue but has anyone else noticed this as well? For reference I run a (11Gb) 1080Ti FTW3, 16Gb Ram, i7-7700k.

It's so quick it would be hard to get a screenshot, only appears for maybe a few frames at a time (enough to notice). I'll try to record it next time it happens and post something

 

I think this is a known issue with Torque3D engine. I had that occasionally on my old 10 series cards. What map are you seeing this on? Usually it's only older maps that had it.

I'm only seeing this with the 200BX and with a modded version of the Miramar (unsure if the vanilla one did it as well, at least not in my testing). I can easily replicate it now with the 200BX when driving in and out of the new full interior garage on the West Coast map. Other cars don't seem to show these black squares, when they do appear though it's only for a split second at a time
